  1. 180/60 and 520 chain. torque arm needs modifying.
  2. I bet they are well over 13.1 cr. Not un common to have to machine this type of piston to suit your individual build.
  3. Bollocks. This is now sold out before the wankers that I work for paid me. If anyone has a place available in the big boys group let me know please. Duncan.
  4. Not sure the B12 is much of an up grade. But to answer your questions. Lower rear engine mount is a different size. drill frame to suit, or sleeve engine. Fit 750 sump and pick up to 1200 engine the cooler will fit and so should the exhaust. 750 coils are fine. Cdi, I've always run the 750 cdi on 1100 motors no problem rev limit is higher but the 1200 motor struggles to rev that high anyway. fit the 750 igntion pick up to the 1200 lump. Carbs, yes with the correct inlet rubbers, but will need jetting to suit. Chain and sprockets fit, but the 750 sizes will leave it geared for 185mph and it will feel flat as a fart.
  5. 7/11 Slabbie race bike, possibly the Harris F1 is it's a roller.
  6. nova transmissions in the UK do a bespoke 6speed race box for the 1100. Very spendy though.
  7. The stock 5speed ratio spacing are crap unless you want to go touring. 1st 2nd and 3rd are too close 3rd 4th and 5th too far apart. The 6speed ratios are much better for performance. You use the 1100 bearings in the conversion so no issue there, though there is a little faffing about, and you need to drill one of the shafts for the clutch push rod. None of it is that tricky. Yes the 750 gears are potentially weaker.
  8. filter, cooler, or oil lines would fail well before the pump.
  9. The Blandit head is fine as a base. Valves and casting are the same as the gsxr1100, cams are the main difference.
  10. What's happened? oil pump shaft snapped?

    Oil Pumps

They're easy to strip and clean, but almost certainly the alloy body will scored to buggery by swarf a shrapnel from the blow up. Efficiency will be massively reduced. Find a good second hand one.
  12. Head should be repairable. SEP in Kegworth would be first port of call. Bandit head will fit, but you will need to use the m cam gears on the bandit cams. bandit cams are tame, but the m shim head cams won't work with the bandit head. you'll need 1100j,k, or l cams for top end power.
  13. Look at ignitech ignition systems. Far cheaper and more versatile than a dyna ignition.
  14. No the 1100 and 750 plates are different. need the correct plates for the frame.
  15. You're only like to see the ptfe olive type in an-4 or -3.
  16. Thanks. right under my bloody nose. I'll pop in and see them next week.
  17. Are you a local too then? They still have all the tooling for screens, all the fairing moulds are gone though. Paul he was Brian apprentice and knew the screens and tooling left some years ago, and has recently set up Slipscreens. Still good guys at Skidmarx, they are always dead helpful.
  18. I'll ask, they're only a few hundred yards from my house, but a lot of the knowledge of the older stuff has gone from there in the last couple of years.
  19. Need a screen for a 750rrk fairing I have. Anyone know where I can find one, or are they the same as the j,k, or l screens? Dont need an original, apattern one is fine. cheers Duncan.
  20. Arse. Hope you have a speedy recovery mate.
  21. Yep. that's the issue on mine, no room between the 1100 donkey and tank in a 750 frame. Your solution with the straight down fittings is how they run on the rrk with the factory fitted head cooler under the main cooler.
