  1. Nah. Unless you like highsides.
  2. No sorry. The engine is built up and in my race bike now.
  3. it's not meant for an efe or similar is it?

    BST 36 mm.

Yeah you'll get the correct dynojet 3.2mm drill then. Not felt any difference personally. Like the breather set-up.
  5. alternator blank plate and clutch cover vent the same area...
  6. I've got an ex Mistral racing 1216cc side car motor in my slabbie. The cases have a huge amount of work to help pumping losses. The bottom if the liners have big cut outs to allow flow between cylinders and the webs have been de bured corners radiused. I've also added a big -10 breather to the clutch casing and opened up the cam cover breather. They both go into a large catch tank/ seat support. which is vented to atmosphere via a big air filter. I've seen healthy gains on race car engines from a good breather set-up and one engine that lost 25bhp,around 10% ,because of a partially blocked breather.
  7. Bandit 600 cable doesnt have the swept steel guide the gsxf one has at the lever end. You get a better cable run with the gsxf part if you run clip one.
  8. What he said. bandit 600 or gsxf600 sprocket cover and release next. gsxr600 clutch cable. gsxr 750 lever.
  9. Don't think there is the advantage of smaller combustion chambers like on the 750 dot conversion, and the ports are higher so carbs wouldn't fit in a stock frame. Early wn/p 1100 had mild cams so 750 cams were and improvement, later 1100 wr/s models had better cams. 1127cc oil cooled pistons give a slight over bore and higher cr so are a worthwhile mod. Great engines that were softened off by the factory as they produced a bit too much for chassis and tyre tech of the time.
  10. If you do both it's a win win. Actually that's a lie. Cutting pies from your diet is a lose.
  11. Mine is around the same weight . head cooler adds a bit if weight but helps power more. I have Astralites which aren t the lightest wheels but lighter than the slingshot wheels it had. To go lighter I'd replace the rear caliper and disc, the seat unit is quite a thick lay up so some weight could be saved there. I'd build an alloy tank too. Then you are into removing alternator and starter and lightening the clutch and gearbox parts.
  12. This. classic endurance insisted on 1052 cases for one season so breakers started asking stupid money. Rules allow bandit motors now, so 1052 motors have no premium.
  13. 6mm off the sprocket carrier where the sprocket bolts on. 3mm* offset front sprocket. you'll need to mount the brake torque arm on the out side of the frame mount in single shear and bend it to clear the tyre. *front Sprocket offset will depend on engine. Not all oil boilers are the same.
  14. Never run a steering damper on my slingshot or slabbie 7/11. both had raised rear ride height and 180/60 rear tyres. Never had an issue with either.
  15. Gsxf had a helically cut primary, so I guess the ratio was different also. 15/52 would make a gsxr1100 pretty lively.
  16. A 1052 clutch assembly should work with 6speed short stroke box. It's what I have in mine.
  17. That's a Mikuni phh carb. Japanese version of a Weber DCOE.
  18. The shock mount is higher up on the 1100 frame.
