  1. I'm having a one off paint job done on one of my Slingshot projects, and I'm trying to sort out some slickers in the original style but different colours. Any one know where I might find some Vector files of the original slickers. Specifically the "hyper sports RR" on the tank, and the "GSXR 750" on the tail. I'm only after the art work I don't want stickers. I've a mate who's going to do the Vinyl work. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks Duncan.
  2. I hear it's been done. No Idea what is involved though.
  3. Use the stock 15/48 that the gsxr1100 uses. 14/48 if you want to save front tyre wear.
  4. Cam chain tunnels are different so don't line up.
  5. The R1 tank works well. Frame looks very similar to another bike on here.
  6. Listen to this man. This bike is unusable. very bad idea. Terrible. Wanna sell it? @spiderhaed
  7. That's a 1127 or 1157 crankcase.
  8. Could be a bitza. 750j/k cases. 1052 crank and gears, 1127 top end. Has it got the big starter motor boss on the casing?
  9. So what part are you concerned with?
  10. If you have to ask these questions you're probably better getting some one else to do the job. They look some what larger than the original valves. What are you trying to achieve ?
  11. You hang the chain on it when you change the rear wheel.
  12. Srad wheel needs 6mm machining off the sprocket carrier to get the chain alignment.
  13. I'm guessing they're from a 3 series BMW.
  14. 15/47 or 48 works really well. Carb rubbers should work fine. I'd bung the 750 cams in the 1200 lump.
  15. The long stroke 750s 85-87 & 89-92 have different wrist pin size to the 1100 pistons. 88-89 short stroke has a different big end size to all the other 750s from 85 to the Srads .
  16. yeah both dot heads. the boss on the alternator mounts have been groin to clear fcr accelerator pumps I'd guess.
  17. It's about setting records. there are a bewildering number of classes on the salt. If you choose the 1300 production class you'll be up against all sorts of trick kit. Scan the records and find a soft record and build a bike to challenge it. That's what that bike is all about.
  18. Fucking bargain. both look like after market big bore blocks.
  19. If you are chewing up alloy sprockets in one track day you have an issue some where. should get a good year of trackdays out of one.
  20. Heads are quite different around the cam chain tunnel, so not a straight swop.
  21. @Markz9has done this conversion recently. It's not quite as simple as the article above makes out.
  22. The swaps been done a few times, but I think the rear cylinder and 916 suspension linkage prevent the front sprocket front sitting in the correct place relative to the swingarm pivot. May not be a issue with a Multistruddle frame
  23. I think the Yoshi tuning manual has optimised figures for stock cams.
