Hi. Don't know about yours but Gsxr have a electrical cut out. Round with red button on the top. If the button has popped out push back in. If it then pops out instantly you likely have a short in the electrics some where. May be faulty unit have heard of this but not had one fail on me.

If you want it to look like a Kat use a Kat frame. Easiest to fit the body work to. An ET would be very similar but will need changes to fit Kat body and fairings.

Glad you sorted it out. Had the permanent magnetic rotor lost its magnitisum? If it has you may be able to get it re-maginitised at a electric motor repairs that deal with servo motors.

You never check if something is tight by tightening and you see if it loose them you don't over tighten

Can you feel it flex? If you can it's worth it if not its still worth it coz it looks good.

Lots of options. Depends on the bars or clip ons you are using. Some are angled better than others.

Scraping is done on white metal bearings for large electric motors. The best engineers I have witnessed doing it attack them and they look a reel mess but work very well. They look like they have deep scores in but when you run finger on the surface it's smooth. It's all about getting the oil to flow around the bearing and Shaft.

You can also weld a small bead around the inside of the race. This will cause it to shrink a little. Should then almost fall out or at least make it easier to drift out.
