  1. thanks lads ... i ll try the idle adjuster .. but it seems nice and tight and would nt really back off ... but i hope thats it.... if not ...its probably as ye say and the pilot jets are blocked...time to seek one of those wonderous wizard like carb gurus to do his voodoo shit on my carbs....it starts and drives great and if i hold the throttle slightly open it idles fine...its not the end of the world... thanks again
  2. hello people.. have a 1977 GS750 which up until today ran like a clock...for some reason my bike today just wont idle.. dies straight away without using the throttle to keep the revs up..its not even attempting to idle...why all of a sudden would this happen... i know its probably something to do with fueling or those mystical mythical hard to understand for people like me carburetors...any carburetor gods out there with this mystical knowledge...thanks anyway
  3. sound man....great skill to have ...you seem to be a suzuki fan
  4. i remember stuff like that... used to follow ur posts on biker.ie....are u a mechanic by trade .. or just someone who knows what hes doing
  5. thanks lad but its not as clean looking up close....i remember you building one a few years back...thats some skill to have...
  6. suits it great.... flows nicely into the tail unit....some nice mods done ... like the exhaust
  7. finally managed to find a giuliari seat for my GS 750....think it looks cool...and not that expensive....
  8. just my opinion... but why dont youm keep the 77 you have and put it back to standard if it is in pretty good condition... you could always pick up a different bike for small money and cafe racer it.....its getting harder to find nice original early gs750 s......and i think they look great and go great....but what ever u decide have fun
  9. keep an eye on eblag.....the cruiser type grab handles show up quiet a bit on eblag.... but i dont think they fit ......the ordinary ones only show up every now and then....im surprised delkevic dont do exhausts for the 550....their a good bit of kit
  10. delkevic.....great system for the price....
  11. i put 1 on my 1977 GS750.... got it on Eblag it was off a gs550.....they come up for sale every now and then .... i was looking for ages
