My 1150 Turbo used to run at about 110 to 120F or 44 to 48C ...Hottest spot was rear of block between 1 and 2.... In contrast when it was was N/A it ran about 110 to 115F ...........Hottest Spot was rear of block between 3 and 4 The Oil Boiler powered turbo ran about 120 to 140F......again rear of block between 1 and 2 was hotest .."it was also running small coolers as it didn't go very far"

Web Cams normally have engraved marks on the end or next to cam sprockets failing that measure the lobes

I seem to recall someone telling me a 750 magnesium cover was the shallowest cover and best for 7/11 swops ... But i have been to sleep since so may have dreamt it

Theres ting tong copies of HSRs and Super Es on ebog apparently the parts out of the super e copies fit straight into the real ones and work out cheaper than a rebuild kit

Fowlers dont list the "M" but 1990 L shows starting with a steel https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5288946/gsx-r750-1988-1990-j-l/clutch-model-l where as 92 shows starting with a friction https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5289098/gsx-r750-1992-1995-wn-ws/clutch did it work ok when you fitted it 5 years ago ?

On the cam front a good used cam would be cheapest option But damage to the head is a bigger issue as is the cause
