Thanks for everyones input! History of the bike is farely unknown. Last owner (around 55 year old man) bought the bike from Germany somewhere in the early 2000’s. He drove it as a daily ride until he put in to barn around 10 years ago. He said that he drove it to the barn. It was a real mess outyside and I predicted it would be the same inside the motor as well. Well when I bought it last fall, I cleaned the carbs, bought new coils and put new gasoline to get it running. I think it ran with 3 cylinders only. When I dismantled the head, nr. 3 cylinder was ”wet”. I think it didn’t fire... I looked at the valves and think they haven’t touched pistons. It’s only a trick of light. This is my first engine overhaul so help is appreciated If I’d buy a second hand head and for exampple SPS JR3 cams, can I be using valves etc. From my old head given that they are ok? Hi, I just opened my EFE engine and noticed some wear on the camshaft and ”bearing surface” Can anyone tell can these damages be repaired or am I next in the lookout for new parts?

Thanks. That is one option i have looked at. The best would be the bolt on way to go, but I have learned that there are not many options for it i really like the look of Marving race system but the decibel level of the exhaust excees finnish levels. I think the level is 103db.

They are nice I have been in the belief that they are quite expensive.

Hello to you all oss members! In a nutshell: Salvaged this ugly, left to die bastard from a Finnish barn last summer and been customising it since then Idea is to customise a sporty daily ride which I can ride also in motorways (will keep the Police academy front fairing). I have upgraded Hayabusa Gen1 rear and front end to the bike. Everything has now been stripped and sent to powder. Next thing in the list is the engine check. Question to you gentlemen is what kind of decent priced bolt on sport exhaust systems there is available? What kind of solutions do you all have? I know tha Marving does 2 kind of systems and Vance&Hines sidewinder is not for me Thanks for advance! -Mikko from Finland
