Captain Chaos Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Welcome to group therapy. I didn't know they made frames, my GS1000 had a Dresda swingarm though at some point. Quote
markfoggy Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 Now that is rare and lush, I have a want. More photos pls. Quote
tanglefoot Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Marzocchi Shocks and a pair of CMA wheels came with the frame . I now have a pair of Billet 6 Calipers for the front . I am now thinking GS1000 engine and maybe a set of 38mm Marzocchi Forks . 6 Quote
caferacerdan Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 wow don't think iv ever seen a dresda gs1000 before...then again I am still a youth Quote
busa ash Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 well done on build thread , you have a nice start with your parts collection Quote
Dezza Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 It looks and sounds like a great basis to build a highly original bike. The swingarm looks very similar to those made by Davida Moto in the 1980s. There are also several videos of Dave Degans, the bloke who started Dresda, on youtube. He seems to still be a highly active special builder. 2 Quote
johnr Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) what are the wheels? they look familiar but i cant place them. doh!, edit, i spetted that theyre cma's ive got the 3 spokes for my kat project, are they stock sizes? mine have fecking enormous iron disks on the front, them on yours look like kawasaki fitments with the four bolts. bluedog59 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That's a nice rarity and some nice bits of "period" kit. I think a pair of AP or Spondon calipers would go perfect with the wheels and discs. 1 Quote
steelelc Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 proper period bit of kit always fancied a Dresda Triton going to look amazing that especially with the Marzocchi Shocks Quote
rustychain Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 proper oldskool that is not seen one of them for ages.. more photos please Quote
SiBag Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 I hate to admit it. I have never heard of them. Hangs head in shame...... Interesting looking project.. 1 Quote
