  1. Hi everyone, hope we are all well, Hoping to paint my side panels to match my nos petrol tank (black with the deep red and gold) Noticed the black paint has a tiny flip in it, does anyone know a good match for it? Mines got air forks as well originally it was a usa import gs750. What's everyone doing regarding the air forks on rebuilding them ? Anyway to identify exactly which forks they are? Cheers
  2. Hi everyone what rear shocks are you guys using mine are shot, also does anyone know the correct paint code for black et/ex's got a new old stock tank and want to get the panels sprayed up Cheers
  3. Cheers mate Ill give that a go and see where it is
  4. Hi mate yep balanced them that way miles better than when I got it its got the US jets in so second row do the jet needle and needle jet / pilot jet differences between the two make that much of a difference not used to jetting 4 strokes ? what do we all reckon Cheers
  5. pilot screw was set at 1.4 turns on the american at 2.5 turns at the moment
  6. HI everyone got my US import gsx 750 et running the other day after picking it up its still got the american spec jets in the carbs attached a graph of the difference in the jetting whats everyone reckon ? was running really lean the other day, a lot better now but still lean on the 1st cylinder, noticed the american carbs you can't adjust the conical rods. what would you change/ stick with also on the air filters everyone use standard? or a k&n in the airbox? Cheers, Tom

  9. for future ref Usa spec carbs under a metal blanking circle top of carbs near rubbers dremel out not exceeding 5mm depth screws are under there cut Grove for a screwdriver went from 1.4 to 2.5 running sweet also balanced carbs like a diff bike
  10. hi everyone doing a bit more work on my et after getting it last week bought the vacuum gauge all the carbs were all over the place needs another go to get it bang on but alot better, nocked it on head with it being really warm night few issues though plugs are veering towards white and when I looked at the bike and still doesn't like to hold a constant throttle surges up and down,up to about 4k pulls clean after that when you look at the intake boots between carbs and head you can see them surging almost with the revs, thinking it's the mixture question is it's a us bike did a bit of reading and us ones have a 170 pilot, also in the book it says pilot screws are Pre set from factory any idea what the setting is guys it's a 1981 also am I right in saying it should be on the top of the carbs or is it between carbs and airbox side? Bit different to my vm32s on the 350lc haha any advice massively apreciated
