New bandit???????

yi want to try an Acrapovic ?, I can't get my one to fit around the frame  - its the same as this one

I would love to matey, but unfortunately the budget for this project is about 3 quid! if you let me know how much, if you are considering selling, then when I flog the arrows ill see if I can afford it. Im sure if the old 4-1 ive got goes on then a akrapovic will go as well

Right been busy with real life stuff, weddings, old people, decorating you all know the routine, anyway got a couple of hours..

 

 

tried a few different cans i found inj the garage, had a look to see if the tank will shine up and fitted the coils. 

still not sure about the seat but as no money it will have to stay i think??

I quite like the seat, but I'd either cut it to follow the frame rails, or extend it to the vertical rails.

heading in a better direction but the size really doesn't work - you want the back of the seat fwd of the rear wheel, go take a look at Neate Racings Harris endurance bike, the seat they use would look good ( - also i've got this one you could try - if you want some key dimensions of it ?

I think the TZ350f seat is a similar shape to the one you have, only smaller. Have you thought about an old style ali hump ?

set the angle of the swinger  and tried another seat unit whilst im waiting for some bits, so i can try the engine and all the lectrics..

 

then got another system to try as well, but its pissing down here so i think ill lie on the sofa instead

teh seats actually a 750 m, the 'arris is tiny, i need to get a seat pad before i start any chopping the subframe about...

A Harris F1 seat will probably look right as it's a Harris F1 frame but may not suit bars other than clip ons.

the top seat is what I've used - its just the right thing for these things - gives you the xr69 look - you can obviously see the slightly moded version on my project page - they come in long and short style from ragged edge racing -  gets a   on this selection

Yep, top one is very similar to a Harris F1 seat. It would have been obvious if someone hadn't so helpfully deleted the pictures I had uploaded. I think Ragged Edge Racing also do them in the UK.

 

JUst read the previous post and yes, RER do a whole load of decent bodywork for older bikes.

I hate bodged electrics, soo mark 2 bandit loom and neutral switch and ignition pick up on a mark 1 engine, plug it all together and VOILA it livess, sort of
