Grove Posted August 26, 2023 Author Posted August 26, 2023 Morning all. Bit of a update on the Martek, it’s now sitting on its own suspension I’ve fitted a ohlins ttx rear shock. The seat unit is sitting on the bike, just moving it until I find a rear height that I’m happy with and suits the bike. Have a great weekend all 5 Quote
Grove Posted August 30, 2023 Author Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) Still waiting on the engine and bits so progress has been slow. Edited August 31, 2023 by Grove Update Quote

Out of curiosity, how are they going to get perfect fitment with the bike and motor in your garage? 1 Quote

He’s got another frame and engine in his workshop 3 Quote

Grove Posted October 31, 2023 Author Posted October 31, 2023 Morning all. few new bits for the Martek. the engine has gone away to be vapour blasted and rebuilt, it should be back in a couple of weeks with the exhaust, oil cooler and most of the other parts. Getting there slowly 4 Quote
DAZ Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Wise move having the engine checked/rebuilt by someone you trust hopefully it'll be fine and it'll "only" cost you labour and a gasket set, but the peace of mind is priceless ,tis a good looking piece of kit 1 Quote
LLD Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Very nice project ! I saw that there was one frame kit for sale.... 1 Quote

Tony Nitrous Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I love it ! …. and I’m more than a little envious. So it’s a totally brand new frame ? Built in the style / as a tribute / on the same theme, as the 2 frames that were modded 750W frames to take oil cooled motors ? Very drool worthy. Quote

Yes it’s a brand new frame built by the same lad who built guy’s frame. It in the style of guys and going to do a bit of a tribute but with a few of my own twists on it. cant wait to crack on with it Quote
