  1. I know it’s not what you asked for, but R1 wheels into a Busa is a popular swap. Places like TPC / Total Performance Cycles in the US do off the shelf spindles etc. Those RSV ones do look nice though. I’d love a radial front end for my Gen-1 but a pair of those could tempt me away from that.
  2. Even though the 11 and 12’s aren’t dirt cheap, wouldn’t a teapot 750 or GSXR750 motor be a cheaper easier big bore than an aftermarket kit with buying pistons, gaskets, rebore etc ? A fire breathing bigbore motor would have some appeal if it was kept stock looking in a stock looking bike though.
  3. Ron Williams / Maxton did mine. They were solid with no oil ways and blanked and locked up the forks solid. The clever bit was drilling the rod inside the forks, the size and position of the hole etc. Worked fine.
  4. I love the idea of a trick framed Kat, I guess with an 1135E or oilcooled lump, modern running gear, trick frame and arm etc etc, there isn’t really any Kat there, just a Kat style or Kat tribute… but either way I love the idea.
  5. I love it ! …. and I’m more than a little envious. So it’s a totally brand new frame ? Built in the style / as a tribute / on the same theme, as the 2 frames that were modded 750W frames to take oil cooled motors ? Very drool worthy.
  6. Note to self: Don’t post up the welding on my cracked Hayabusa frame that’s had 17 years of abuse.
  7. He has it back now, I think the odd underseat twin cans have gone.
  8. Pip Highams 6 more recently….
  9. Has this been posted before? Anyone have any more info on it ?
  10. While my wallet recovers from recent purchases I’m going some homework…. Custom Garrett 50 trim turbo with TD Racing compressor cover, will support over 400hp 38 mm Tial Sport MVS gate (external)
  11. Hayabusa’s run two top yokes. The lower of the two grips the forks and the stem, the higher of the two has the bars. The top one doesn’t need to do any fork / stem work, just steers the one below it. Not using Hayabusa parts but to make something up. Just another option.
  12. I’ve swapped between regular and iridium’s a few times. Mixed riding, drags and dyno, never noticed a difference. Im told they have a longer life, but my bikes either don’t do high mileage or other get changed when they are in bits because they are a shit to get too. Don’t bother with iridium’s anymore.
  13. There was one out here running GSXR600 carbs but I think it took quite a bit of work. Standard 14’s have odd spacing and smaller throttle body’s than a lot of bikes. Great for grunt but not an easy upgrade.
