  1. i forgot this one
  2. You can have the drawings if you want, just let me know
  3. New mounting points, with larger diameter to fill the 25mm hole and option to connect both points. Mind you, this will need modification of the inner fender. But mine was damaged anyway, so no broken heart here
  4. Cut out with an holesaw (25mm), fitting just around the original studs
  5. I would not put the mounts through the tube. Way too little meat around the mount
  6. Above pic was with a standard 750 K8 shock. Now it has an Ohlins aftermarket one, still with reservoir attached in same orientation
  7. That is a good point. With piggyback shock you loose some space for a battery box. In my case not an issue as I made a new one for a lithium battery anyway
  8. Above some pictures of my attempt to monoshock a GSX frame. At the same time installed beefier swingarm axle points. The laser cut template is to maintain the correct geometry of the suspension linkage. Swingarm is a B12
  9. Thank you for the feedback !!!
  10. Nice bracket, do you have drawings of this ?
  11. Correct, the later EFE models did have CDI and fixed crank triggers, the earlier ones had mechanical advance
  12. Using a swingarm of a Bandit 1200 has the advantage that it will fit easily in the frame. Most of GSXR swings are too wide and need some modification on the frame. Anyway, you will not avoid some minor modding and welding but it can easily be done in a shed. This is mine, GSXR1100W front end, Bandit 1200 rear end. Brackets for shocks can be ordered from Grumpy 1260. I retained the original footrests and brake pedal which gave some extra work.
  13. Indeed an 1100ESD or late 1100S Katana This does not have a CDI but an igniter. Should be too difficult to get one second hand if it is suspect
  14. something like this ?: https://www.bikeside.de/TAROZZI-Sturzbuegel-Satz-Stahl-verchromt-inkl-Anbauteile-fuer-alle-GSX-1100-E-80-81
  15. Very nice project ! I saw that there was one frame kit for sale....
  16. I run 180 but it is borderline. 170 is a better choice, as some brand tyres end up to be a bit wider
  17. For a Bandit 1200 swingarm you use these bushes. Then you can use the original swing arm axle. Cut off the mounting point for the shock, otherwise it will touch the battery box. Brake cilinder needs relocation
