  1. i like that wraith its something different a lot of people don't bother with shaft driven bikes !!!! dont know why i think they are great ive had a few, the only problem to me is getting a wide wheel in, but its not impossible but can be expensive
  2. nice but them USD's look dodgy so i'll look after them for you
  3. cool, i like what i can see but need more detail
  4. In my opinion the mk2 bandit isn't the best looker the mk1's are much better. sell it on and put the cash into a 1200
  5. picture is very small wraith, have you got a bigger one ? looks interesting
  6. yeah go for the easy/cheap option first you might just get lucky !!!! ive seen people put oil in the tank to help keep the inside from rusting when laid up for a long time, if it was mine i would wash the tank out and fill it with fresh fuel ( plus an oil change might help), then run it till the tank is empty and see if the burning oil has stopped. if thats the real mileage then you might get lucky ??? if not it'll be a top end strip
  7. has it been sat unused for a long time ?
  8. if you have a constant spark with the ignition on but the engine is not turning over then it can only be a faulty CDI !!!!
  9. yeah you also quicken the steering up too. it was a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. is the hayabusa shock really that light ??? sorry ive got me coat on

  12. i went cable on my bandit 1200 engine, to me it beats a fluid clutch but thats just my prefrence
  13. i had one back in the 80's but it wasn't the race helmet with the number on it.

  15. gsx750 14mm spindle, gsx1100 16mm spindle.
  16. I bought a pair of 1100 ones, cleaned all the paint off and give em a good polish, when i went to fit them they just don't go in far enough !!!! you would have to machine some ally off the back side so they sit closer in but their is a metal bracket welded to the frame that sticks out too far, you would have to cut it off and weld another one on in the right place further in. by the way some 750's came with ally ones from the factory but a bit harder to find, i did see some on be gay the other day that i was gona buy !!!!
  17. The 1100 ones dont fit on the 750 frame,
  18. no, could of posted more pictures
  19. I think this thread is getting out of hand !!!! as ive said my clutch is much lighter now i have the right lever on and the bearing in the lever pivot. its no longer a problem i was just documenting what i did to overcome it. THE END.
  20. tacho on a mk1 bandit is black/red. sorry not sure on mk2.
  21. Ah didn't know that but i much prefer a cable clutch, i converted my B12 engine to B6 cable feels much better to me.
  22. what !!! for a 1980 gsx 750
  23. can't say i know the answer to this but, if both bikes share the same drive shaft hub then i imagine it'll be a straight swap ????
