  1. nothing wrong with giving good advice about cleaning all the contacts. you wont get shot for that
  2. he means the gear lever shaft not the sprocket shaft
  3. that type is moped territory
  4. as fab says just ground the wire with the ignition on.
  5. great bikes, ive ridden a few T/GT 500's , quite a grunty engine for a two stroke twin
  6. if it was mine i'd polish it
  7. whats wrong with the living room ?
  8. ive got a GSX750ET and would like a bit more power, the answer is a GSX1100 engine but like hen's teeth to find and not cheap if you do. im resisting the temptation of putting a 1200 bandit engine in as i think it looks better with the air cooled engine. i have a copy Kat with a 1200 motor in it so if i feel the need for speed i'll get that out. but upgrading the suspension, brakes and wheels is the way to go
  9. the inazuma has the same headstock as a bandit, read above.
  10. i'd go with the pipes, better to be on the cooler side than the hotter side. it was designed that way.
  11. I'd like to change the engine in my 750 ET to an 1100, yeah i could use an oil cooled one but i want to keep it period, but the big problem is finding an engine and when/if i do its not gona be cheap !!!
  12. yeah i know wraith, it wasn't really a question it was more of a statement but some people take it literally !!!!!!
  13. i like that wraith its something different a lot of people don't bother with shaft driven bikes !!!! dont know why i think they are great ive had a few, the only problem to me is getting a wide wheel in, but its not impossible but can be expensive
  14. nice but them USD's look dodgy so i'll look after them for you
  15. cool, i like what i can see but need more detail
  16. In my opinion the mk2 bandit isn't the best looker the mk1's are much better. sell it on and put the cash into a 1200
  17. picture is very small wraith, have you got a bigger one ? looks interesting
  18. yeah go for the easy/cheap option first you might just get lucky !!!! ive seen people put oil in the tank to help keep the inside from rusting when laid up for a long time, if it was mine i would wash the tank out and fill it with fresh fuel ( plus an oil change might help), then run it till the tank is empty and see if the burning oil has stopped. if thats the real mileage then you might get lucky ??? if not it'll be a top end strip
  19. has it been sat unused for a long time ?
  20. if you have a constant spark with the ignition on but the engine is not turning over then it can only be a faulty CDI !!!!
  21. yeah you also quicken the steering up too. it was a joke !!!!!!!!!!!!
