  3. I would think it'll be tight Toni !!!! an oil cooled engine would be a better bet. but only guessing my mate squeezed a B12 engine in a Kat 400 frame but had to modify it. anything is possible
  4. I would make a guess that it might fit, the gsf and gsxf engines are pretty much the same. but theirs only one way to find out
  5. no oil or brake fluid will come out of the top part of the antidive (where the hose bolts too) you can take the top part off with hoses still attached as both parts have a seal, it keeps both fluids separate. ive disconnected the small hose from the calliper on mine and just put a plastic plug in for now just to keep the crap out.
  6. thats a can of worms opened if you are talking an oil cooled engine then "IMO" only,,,, then yeah i prefer the feel of a cable, all you need is a front sprocket cover/cable/clutch lever and probably the 600 push rod.

  10. that seems strange ? i thought the 4 raised bits on the seal would go against the bearing !!!!! looking on the parts diagram though it looks right
  11. I tend to lay them down on its right side. works for me take the cam cover breather off will help.
  12. I put a 1200 bandit motor in a Z1000 frame, only had to take the breather cover off the cam cover, went in and out fairly easy with the engine on the floor on its side.
  13. I wouldn't worry about it, the output shaft bearing ( behind the sprocket ) has a C ring so the bearing will not move, the other end of the shaft is a needle roller. and as I said when the sprocket nut is tight their will be no movement.
  14. yeah i would of thought very little if any, but when the sprocket is on and tight their will be no play at all.

  17. as i said earlier on, check the wiring from the pulse coils to the CDI or if you have a spare one try it on.
  18. A few people have had success with this and back in the 80's I did an experiment with it. I had a 4 cylinder chop (gsx1100 engine) and the mid range was fecking crap so...... what I did was wrap some tape round the 4 filters about half way and it worked, bike ran sweet as. their was a guy who did the same thing on his bike on a forum but he did the mod on the inside of the filter so the filter looked normal. now is it restricting the air flow or stabilizing it ??????? don't know, all i know it worked
  19. charging system sounds good, as for the anti dive, i just did away with the link pipe from the calliper to the forks and use a shorter banjo bolt for now.
  20. my guess is extra protection for a crash ?????
  21. its the wheel and spring you can see in your pic, it sits on the smallest dimple on the selector drum cam.
  22. arn't the 36mm bandit carbs the same size as the EF ?
  23. I put the selector drum in the neutral position first, then drop the gears in, when you put the crankcases together then check all the gears are their before you go any further
