clivegto Posted August 3 Posted August 3 A well known bike on hear both @jband @fatblokeonbandithad it in there possessions before me. Did a deal with FB and met up with him to do swapsies at Donington services on my way to meet up with the OSS crew stand at Castle Donington. Always liked this bike from when JB first got it but couldn't afford it when he put it up for sale but could this time . So it's my turn to do something with this fantastic frame. Slotted a Thunderrace front end in today that I had laying around, think it suits this frame well. Roughly fitted a r1 back wheel a d some bars just so I can wheel it about for now . 22 Quote

Heck of a collection of trick frames you got going on , Moto Martin ,Harris , Spondon , NWS , ..... clivegto Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 (edited) Had it in the back of my mind to fit the Metmachex slabby swinging arm I got of @Bowwho got it of Havoc who got it of Yann. Anyway I like it in this setup but it's just a mockup at the moment as the Moto Martin's swinging arm pivot is 1mm bigger than the slabby one. I'm liking the look of the R1 5 spoke wheels so I loosely fitted the front one, again I'm liking the look. Probably going to fit 4 1/2 inch spot lights like Spondon used. Time for a beer or two . clivegto Posted August 7 Author Posted August 7 Mean Bean called in today with a Triumph front end for me today which I was considering fitting to Brian as FB affectionately called the Moto Martin, probably going to fit it to the ET. Made 2 front wheel spacers up to fit the R1 wheel to the Thunderrace forks. 2 Quote

Dezza Posted August 10 Posted August 10 How about a P & M? I always liked them although taking the head off to get the engine in and out sounds a little extreme. And that still leaves you Bimotaless . Quote
clivegto Posted August 11 Author Posted August 11 Seem to have acquired a fully prepped turbo motor less a clutch and a starter from @Jdeaccheers bud . Lightened knife edge crank, busa pistons & rods, base spacer plate & a flowed minstral head . So I best fit it into the Moto Martin I think . 10 Quote
