Blubber Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Welcome. Nice bike! Some of these bikes have different camshafts due to local restrictions. Yours could be a German version. Quote

Askamaskinservice Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Welcome to OSS. Really nice bike. Quote
ibrakeformoose Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 I'd expect 110 bhp or so on the dyno from a stock 1135 motor, as long as no horses have escaped over the years.. Quote
akronos Posted February 24, 2019 Author Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) from what I saw in the motorcycle booklet the model was registered in Italy in April 1985. On some sites I read that it should have 124hp possible? Thanks to SuzukiCycles.org !! Look the difference in HP from 1984 to 1985 .,... WHY?! The engine are the same. Fazz711 Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 BHP differance may be where it is actually measured ie rear wheel, sprocket, crank. All will give you a different BHP. Also may be different way of measuring SAE DIN ect. Another may be manufanctor quotes which may vary greatly from reality. Quote

akronos Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 This is why my new motorcycle goes bad..ahahaha Quote
Dezza Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 Looks like Pixie and Dixie have made a home in the airbox at some time in the past. If you ran the bike with that lot in there then it's probably drawn some of the debris into the carbs at least so it will probably be worthwhile stripping and cleaning the carbs before any further starting attempts. The mice might also have chewed the wiring so check it all out carefully or it could all end in tears. 1 Quote
akronos Posted February 28, 2019 Author Posted February 28, 2019 (edited) I Have disassembly the carbs. Strange but are perfect! Even the camshaft seems fine Edited February 28, 2019 by akronos Quote
akronos Posted March 1, 2019 Author Posted March 1, 2019 I wanted advice on how to mount the instrument closer to the steering plate and then install the naked type headlight. Thank you Quote
Swiss Toni Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Just get the EG bracket, and it'll be fine. The headlamp is another story. Good find. Same colour as mine! Quote
ibrakeformoose Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 I have a couple of genuine Suzuki workshop manuals that I could part with.. drop me a pm and we can organise something if you're not already sorted from the interweb. Quote

Thank you I can't help with the EG bracket but I definitely have complete headlight assemblies with mounts etc. if you're trying to convert an EF/ES to an E/EG? You'll need to change the bars too (if you have stock forks etc.) as the EF/ES ones are sharply angled and don't look/feel right without a fairing.. Quote
