  1. Make sure you brace the top of the arm so it hits the subframe when you go down a bumpy road..
  2. I'm with dupersunc, just done one using a spark plug repair kit using a Timesert.. A bit more time-consuming to get it sitting just right, but well worth the effort.
  3. Thanks very much for that, very much appreciated! I'll probably find my manual tomorrow now.. Thanks again!
  4. Thanks chaps, might it be a bit cheekier to ask for the unfaired one?
  5. HI, I hope someone can help before I have to resort to going to see my rapist.. I mean, Suzuki dealer.. as I can't find my factory manual anywhere.. Does anyone have a pic of the genuine manual pages for a mk1 of the wiring routing from coils to headstock/headlamp? Also for very rear/tail light/indiblinkers rat's tail.. Thanks immensely in advance! Virtual beer!
  6. Cheers Garry, I figured they would be.. but you never know, 1 degree here, 1 degree there and electrics are pretty well black magic to me anyway!! Thanks for that, swap time!!
  7. These have completely different part numbers between mk1s and mk2s.. they look the same.. anyone know if they can be interchanged (obviously with the matching rotor)? Cheers!
  8. Not thought about that.. I'll give it a bash and see.
  9. I'm building a mk1 with mk2 loom and electrics/clocks etc., does anyone know how to cheat the mk1 sender into being accurate with the mk2 clocks? I'm figuring there must be something resistor-based that I can do.. Failing that, open to suggestions/abuse, but it seems a shame not to have a functional LCD fuel gauge as it's there..
  10. Thanks, I'll keep looking but will make a call/drop a line to a couple of dealers in NZ (again!)..
  11. On my way tomorrow.. do I wear a namebadge or a Carnation?
  12. Pulled the trigger on them to save much arsing about.. Still looking for ANYHING in relation to a parts book or manual.. a flight to NZ might be a bit extravagant!
