  1. I use Renthal on my race bike and get them from B and C express, they did have limited sizes when I last bought one in Sept and can make custom ones but told me that they were waiting on blanks due to supply issues. It depends on size required to as to whether they have any in stock, plus maybe you don’t want race sizes if it’s for the road? Largest size for blandit in 520 from Renthal is 47 tooth,so anything bigger is custom. JT as stated above are steel sprockets and from memory these were more readily available when I looked they do 47,49 teeth only. Not sure what other bikes f
  2. I got some for my ET from Suzuki, 1100 version mind and about £15 each, assume you can get 750 ones still as well. If not try CMNSL in Holland, they have loads of Suzuki stuff normally.
  3. Small update to this thread, was thinking of selling the purple people eater but have decided that it deserves to be used in a different way.I’ll race my blandit for another season then during 2021 will turn the ET into a race bike ...funds permitting. The plan is to carry on racing in FPR but change class to run in FP1. Need to make a new list to see what the regs allow and how I can make this heavy old bus into fast and agile race bike, as it will be competing against some trick Harris framed Suzuki’s, a very sorted Grumpy prepped Kat and some fast other makes of bike. Looks like I’
  4. If you don’t get an answer I can check mine when I’m home at the weekend.
  5. Is it me or since COVID-19 has OSS become the googlers drop in centre........I’ll always help genuine OSS but find posts like this becoming the norm. Welcome by the way then RTFR.... start again with a nice intro then all us right nice folk will only be too glad to help
  6. Duly noted your first in the queue but you could be in it for a wee while yet
  7. Could be here’s a pic of my 750 slabby one for comparison
  8. @Nelsonglad you’re sorted that’s what OSS is all about
  9. Body work will fit either,I think from memory the 750 clocks aren’t the same but could be wrong and the swing arm on the 750 was steel rather than ali on the 1100.A resident ET expert will know better than me I’ve added 2 original spec sheets from 1981 just for info. The 750 frame will take the 1100 engine you just need different brackets made to bolt up the lower mount below the ignition cover.I’m sure there are other subtle differences, the 750 pump gear can also used to improve oil flow in the 1100 motor.I only speak from my experience I have a 750 frame with an 1100 engine in it.
  10. Yes that’s what I did and they worked fine for me
  11. The brush holder is £70 ish but I’m sure you can buy the brushes separately for a few quid or if not wemoto should do a kit for about £20 at least you can for my blandit race bike so would think you can for a slabby too
  12. I’ve always used a charged battery as my power source from memory you only need 12v to do the test, maybe I’ve been doing it wrong all these years but it’s got me by so far, hopefully it’s just the brushes or do as @wraithsays and swap it out for a blandit one, cheap as chips on eBlag or maybe someone on here has one you can borrow first to eliminate the fault
  13. As stated above and it sounds as though you have a manual, if you remove the alternator from the bike, then remove the end cover then desolder the reg from the plate after removing the whole assembly from the body. You can then test the reg as stated in the manual. Its not a difficult job just a bit fiddly. If it was me I’d be looking for a alternator swap once you prove it’s the reg, as the price for new one is bloody ridiculous, but I wouldn’t just get a replacement without proving the reg is knackered first.Maybe some kind soul on here has one in their shed
  14. A couple of action pics from last week, proof it doesn’t just get polished
  15. Annual 2T Big Bang at Blyton Park today, the smoker went well and never missed a beat. Some nice bits of kit but only posting the Suzuki loveliness
  16. Although I can only comment based on my MK1 race bike the clock connections are part of the main harness I believe that the mk2 is the same see pic, however our resident expert should be able to confirm though calling @fatblokeonbanditto the bridge
  17. Ride over on the bus to collect some coils for the race bike cheers @Paulm,home now so gave her a polish, couple of pics before I drink a cold one
  18. Got the smoker out today to do a bit of prep for the annual 2T Big Bang at the end of the month. Power valve cables adjusted and covers off to clean out the oil residue, fitted the carbon mudguard I’ve had in a box for 2 years. Gave the pipes a clean with some wd40 then stuck the plastics back on and took her round the block to check all’s good.
  19. Rolled the smoker out the shed to find a bit of a fuel leak, stripped the tap and gave it a clean. All good so off for a quick smoke round the block, stopped for some fresh fuel no sign of a leak
  20. Road test today and she’s running sweet, the balanced carbs are spot on with little or no lag when you open the throttle. No pic as I forgot my phone .
  21. The schemes on the 1100 and 750 were different in the UK and probably most other countries my mudguard should be black if you scheme is like this then the mudguard would be red as standard
  22. @Dezzathe Ali bit of the can is 305mm in length
  23. No problem will measure it when I’m next in the garage
