What?

the helical clutch gear is no problem for one-piece crankshafts, the aircooled pressed together crankshafts cannot handle too much lateral force though. Basically the F engine is an 1127 R engine with a bit softer camshafts and smaller carbs. Using R camshafts and 38mm carbs from a 750 will give quite a lot of useable power. Or put a turbo on it straight away for 300+ hp.

gsxr 750 L BST38 jetting issues (DJ stage 3 kit / won't start)
Captain Chaos replied to nikos1400's topic in Oil Cooled
Good that you got it sorted. Nice and clean L by the way. Now install that 1100 engine. -
or make your own. Slot the holes on the ground plate.

will it be a hardtail chopper? Bro?
-
lying scum. That's not a 1000cc engine.

Stripped thread. Named or generic Helicoil type repair kit
Captain Chaos replied to Andyb's topic in Air Cooled
the breather cover is not structural but the next thread you strip, might be. So invest in good quality stuff right away. -
Cool conversion. If your Teapot 600 has 36mm carbs (I'm not sure), the 1100 would run much better with those after rejetting them. And the cable operated clutch from the 600 is a straight fit on the 1100 engine. The pushrod length might need adjusting though. My GSX-R750L with 1100F engine also has the 600 sprocket cover and clutch cable for that sleeper appearance.

check which valves have clearance, those are closed.
-
that's already better than when they came from the factory. Nice bike.

yes but in theory at least the springs have an easier time pushing against the plates if the radius side is inside. Probably makes 2/10th of fuck all difference but I feel better when the radius is inside. Simple minds and all that shit.

yeah I'm lucky I work in a bike shop/workshop, stuff like oil and filters and spark plugs are off the shelf, stuff like valve shims and batteries I get from another shop, literally around the corner (5 min. walk). But this is the 2nd largest city in Lithuania with 400.000 inhabitants.
-
if I need only a few I go to the bike parts shop around the corner, they sell them for 2 euros each and no need to wait.
-
radius side goes in first

I vaguely remember that in the early '90s FZR1000 forks were popular in GS1000's. Good length and easy swap.

Opinions or experience with flatslides in 750 enginesn cc
Captain Chaos replied to Leblowski's topic in Oil Cooled
DOT headed Slingy has 36mm carbs, not 38mm. And I think those 36mm CV's are good on a 750, or 34mm flatslides, not bigger. -
Difference between 710 and 711 could be power (restricted for some markets like F and D). K and L engines are the same. My 1100L engine was V711.

under the sprocket cover should only be the neutral switch on 1052 engines
-
f*ck yeah. Maybe it's the picture, but I didn't know Ducati Monsters were that compact.
-
if you have both bikes available, yes. But if you're sitting at work / at the in-laws for Christmas dinner / on the loo / in the church / wherever, not so much.

Tyre circumference is not difficult to calculate. Why do people need a programme or an app for the most simple tasks nowadays?

so in other words their biggest fuck-up was the lack of communication.

OSS or not OSS

what's wrong with that?
