howdy, so im looking for a bit of advice, as mention in a previous post iv aquired a gs1000 , tbh honest im not really sure what to do with it, dunno wheather to go the period mods route or a more modern look, i know the front ends on suzukis are fairly interchangable but im a touch concerned about ride height, i know i need a gsx swing arm to accom a more modern wheel but what would be a good set up for the front?

hi im new! so i thought id drop in with a question, iv recently purchased a gs1000e with the normal rotten tank on the seam, i dont really wanna go down the route of changing it as there akward to get hold of, plus its a fluted tank so id like to keep it, iv seen a few places that cut the bottom out and make a whole new underside section, anyone have any experience of such a thing? can anyone recommend a firm thanks
