  1. those springs are still available new from Suzuki.
  2. 750L motor is the same as M but with locknuts (and slightly different intake ports). Yours appears to be an L then. Intake 0,10 - 0,15mm, exhaust 0,18 - 0,23mm.
  3. yes the Kat looks cool in those colours. I have one as well.
  4. is the sump pan from a 1127 engine? Might cause the exhaust to sit slightly lower / at an angle.
  5. had a closer look, for model year 1987 and 1988 the plates are only mounted in E2, E17 and E39 markets. Which is England, Sweden and Austria.
  6. if those plates are thin (1 or 1,5mm) you can leave them out. They look like restricors to me, but according to the part diagram from 1986 they are for all markets, usually only a few markets get a restricted version.
  7. for replacing a drive shaft seal yes. But for the shift shaft seal the cases do not need parting. Remove the clutch, pull out the shaft and the seal can be popped out from the inside. I have replaced many seals using self tappers and it works fine.
  8. in other words, find yourself a B6 / Teapot engine.
  9. may I ask why number 68 on your bike? Do you live in Haut-Rhin?
  10. next time try to integrate canbus to make it even more interesting.
  11. too bad, I remember MIG were good exhausts. Interesting project you have there.
  12. Hi and welcome to OSS Yann. Didn't MIG go tits up some 10 years ago? http://www.moto-net.com/actualites-motos-458-Business-DOMMAGES-COLLAT%C3%89RAUX-MIG-met-la-cle-sous-la-porte.html
  13. haven't done it myself on an oilcooled engine (yet) but I'd guess you should take care not to push 26 too far in because it could disengage from 6 or the spring 27 could unhook from 28.
  14. the GSX550 was produced from 1983 till 1987, mostly unchanged as far as I know. There was also a 500cc version.
  15. those carbs are a royal pain in the ass. And even worse is that nothing else fits on those GSX550 engines. But when they run they are quite good.
  16. +1 After swapping most of the sparky bits the problem is still here. Carbs seem to be the only constant factor, rule them out.
  17. pics would help. N means 500 - 599cc, 7 means 4 cil. 4 stroke, 02 means second evolution.
  18. the WC engine is smaller than the OC one. Only problem might be the radiator which is quite big.
  19. IMO it looked better before but it's your bike
