  9. worth while spraying some WD or the like down it to make sure its clear if you have an air line even better.
  10. yeah thats the way i do it, but the thing to remember is not to put to much force on it as it can make it too tight.
  11. 35k is not a lot for a cam chain replacement, especially a hivo. it could be the tensioner is ready to click over to the next tooth ?
  12. yeah i get what you mean, the more torque its under the tighter it gets and when off the rev's the pressure comes off and the lighter springs take over. nice theory but why hasn't anyone ever come up with it ???
  13. yeah the engine needs to be spinning over to create a constant spark.

  15. so all 4 plugs are sparking at the same time when the kill switch is in the ON position but your NOT pressing the starter button ? is that what you are saying ?
  16. right you've got me confused so you have sparks at the plugs but it still won't start ?
  17. you said it was "sparking constantly" in a previous post !!!!!
  18. nothing wrong with the early gsxr forks, have they been serviced lately ? have you tried setting them to factory settings then road test and see how the bike handles ? if too soft take a screw driver with you and adjust them one click at a time till you are happy. as to chroming the USD's, separating the leg from the bottom calliper mount is a right P.I.T.A. i did one of mine as it was rusty at the bottom, but i just bought a new after market one off be gay, think it was £110 !!!
  19. when it comes to working on bikes we are always learning
