  1. the float valve seat O rings can harden over time and crack, when they do it gives the same symptoms as a float valve not sealing.
  2. one of my favourite films, my first born is named after the devil child
  3. when my after market screen ever fecking turns up i can do it for you
  4. Ive rode a few T and GT 500's they are great bikes, quite a bit of low down torque for a two stroke. almost feel like a four stroke.
  5. what I do is match the ign key to the petrol/seat locks. if the key goes in then you can modify the plates inside the lock. its fecking fiddley but doable and smallish fingers helps.
  6. bloody hell, 3 sets of carbs can't all be wrong !!!!!! what about a crack/hole in the inlet tract of the head ? just grasping at straws now
  7. yeah you'll have to wait till next year the big tank is way much better that the smaller one.
  8. nice, what year is it ? just got mine done as a historic vehicle.
  9. i had to google "epitome" had no idea what it means but now i know, cheers. theirs a lot more bikes on here much better than mine though
  10. I have a B12 swinger in my 750 ET, i just used a sleeve. i found an aluminium tube on the bay of E with a 20mm O.D and a 14mm I.D. cut it to the length i needed and slotted it in. it was a very snug fit which is good so no play what so ever.
  11. has someone welded a brace on your frame at some point ? looking at mine it doesn't have one but i was just thinking its possible to make one that bolts to the front engine mounts.
  12. if it was mine i wouldn't chance bending them back, I'd go with washers or if you have spare hangers have a go at bending one of them the opposite way
  13. it must be my dodgy old eyes if its defo straight then it must be the frame lugs, but i wouldn't try to bend them back as it could end up in tears if they snap off.
  14. that footrest hanger is defo bent and needs tweaking straight, if all else fails you could put some washers behind it to pull it away from the swinger.
  15. swingarm spindle on 750 is 14mm. 1100 16mm.
  16. wern't they restricted through the carbs/ignition ???? not sure with the European bikes. Crooks Suzuki is where i used to work and it Furness by the way.
  17. that'll make a change, theirs a lot of knobheads round here that butcher them up
  18. before i put the USD's on my 750 i used B12 forks not dropped.
  19. nice bike is the plan to leave it totally standard ?
  20. I can't see the float heights causing the hanging idle ? but yeah it will effect the mixture. ive seen floats set at all different heights and it would idle ok. but its worth a try I suppose
  21. its hit and miss with after market float valves, genuine is the way to go if you can afford the bloody prices
