  1. Hello My bike is doing my head in at the clutch department I've come to the point in my investigations that i decided to buy a new set of the proper spec discs The 11F for some stupid reason like all it's oil cooled cousins has it's very own cocktail of parts, rather than Suzuki doing a generic setup that could work well for all. So it has 11 ferodo discs, the 2 outer ones being a different ref to the 9 ones in the pile Does anyone know what the difference is ? I know you should only buy Suzuki clutch bits, but the 2 outer ones are NLA OF COURSE THEY ARE Can I get away with using 2 inner ones ? Thanks
  2. Check the microfiches to find the list if bikes using that exact part
  3. It's been years since they became NLA Machining one sounds like a bit of a job, it'll probably need hardening treatment also ? Better off looking into buying S/H
  4. Hello That sounds nice Do you have a copy of it ? I could do with that kind of official decree on paper Thanks
  5. Yep they are GSX1100 type mufflers Look where the fixing point hole in the footrest plate is compared to the tab on your cans

    Oil cooler

Well look at the size of a B12 cooler compared to a GSXR, it's way smaller (i suppose due to absence of fairings ?)
  7. I've seen US forum topics claiming +10 HP with 7RW cams in, with the power curve pushed up the rev range
  8. I guess you've seen that on cylinder nÂș3 ? Its a detail on most if not all 1127, it's not a problem.
  9. Yes only that one. I have a laser cut file somewhere for the bottom center mount
  10. Thats what i did on the 600 SRAD firks i fitted to my katana and it has worked out fine with the extra weight
  11. I used 2007 R1 coils on my 11R
  12. Thanks for your advice, I won a K1 titanium header off the bay for 12€50, need to sort it out and also figure a link pipe
  13. I guess you're talking about replacing the rubber mounts ? Outer diameter of shouldered part : 36 mm Thickness of shoulder : 7.25 mm Outer body diameter : 28 mm Length of body : 28.9 mm Bore : 10.1mm
  14. Bandit or 11R masters are only 14mm I think ?
  15. Unless the M head ports are significantly better for flow and HP or for your exact needs, i would just buy an earlier screw and nut head ? I mean if your plan is to build a tuned engine you are probably going port it anyway, so...
  16. I fitted 600 SRAD forks (SHORT !!!) to my Katana, with 18 inch slab rim. Bear in mind diameter of rim doesn't necessarily influence the diameter of the wheel, it the wall ratio of the tyre thqt does that I have the marving 4 into 1 exhaust you mentioned precisely to ensure good clearance.
  17. Hey Right, as some know I am in France, with the gay 100hp limit put in place back in '84 I have a '93 7RW that I would like to open up to full power. I believe that unlike most bikes of that era where you just swapped over the carburetor lids, Suzuki went to extra trouble by addressing the following : - exhaust camshaft - ECU - exhaust header I have checked the microfiche and it seems that E04 (code for france) does indeed have a part number for the exh cam and the ECU, so anything on Eblag Deutschland should sort that out My question is about the exhaust Since they probably sold about five and a half of these bikes back in the day, the supply of performance parts is not exactly amazing nowadays Has anyone fitted an exhaust header from some other R, i'm thinking SRAD for example ? I guess it boils down to downtube length and diameter and spacing of the spigots ?
  18. ANYTHING from the GSXR parts bin from K1 onwards will fit, and when I mean fit, it just slots in and you're good to go (almost) I have just tricked out my '93 with K8 forks it is plug and play except steering stop, top stem bearing and the buggery issue that you need an electronic speedo
  19. Not the same PCD and bore as slabby discs ? If so, ZZR1200 fit and are available in 320mm
  20. I read an article aboit a guy building a track kat and he did state that painting the fairing + cooking did deform it a bit Best bet for the curing process : mount it on the fairing stay using screws but not screwing them down, just locating I'm sure that will avoid any distorsion since the fairing will be braced in its proper postion
  21. Fitting aftermarket rearsets that you can adjust to be able to stretch your legs a bit more + I fitted LSL bar risers on my 11R, it would make the position closer to a GSXF for you
  22. Hi. I did this to my '93 boiler : K8 fork wheels and brakes, rims powdercoated metalflake pink, Nitron race pro shock Improves the riding, makes for a great resto mod look, is easy to do and very fast to finish as well. Cost is reasonable too. Seems like your bike is the perfect candidate for such an update
  23. Right, well turns out the 2 sump screws below the filter were not there, fitting them did get the engine drip free. Concentrating on finding the usuals stopped me from spotting that
