  1. If you have a powdercoater mate i have red wrinkle powder i used on a rocker cover
  2. On the outer side of the sprocket cover you have a rubber plug. Behind that is a screw and lock nut designed for fine tuning of the clutch play on the cable clutch system
  3. You may want to look into rubber mounting that tail light, those ones don't like vibrations. That said i fitted 4 to my bike and didn't, but I have yet to put some proper miles on it
  4. You obviously need to match the rear otherwise it will look like shit I did it on my 93, which will be the same You need 4 spacers for the wheel made but it all lines up well without an offset sprocket And use a 600 K7 because it is 5.5 inch same as OE
  5. Tap in Google pod filter with relevant diameter and something might come up ? Leaving just a pod filter there can maintain a greasy area over time around the spot. Best is a remote catch can (doesn't have to be big)
  6. Check with real bulbs first but i had the same and it was indeed the earth connections
  7. Thanks @Gsxrsambut i don't feel confident to rebore that myself, I'm definitely not equipped enough
  8. Yep if course A G or H sprocket is indeed what i need, but with 51 or 52 teeth, so a custom is required, hence my initial question, but i have found that Supersprox has the option ready in their catalog. Thanks
  9. I'll work it out myself thanks
  10. Will a smaller sprocket clear the swingarm movement ? I'd rather be sure of clearance, i'm thinking the gearbox sprocket position compared to the frame and swingarm pivot etc could cause some issue
  11. Because it's a '91 1100R engine due to run with a 150/70/18 tyre
  12. Well supersprox has them up to 53 teeth with a 3 week wait. It's the alloy hub riveted steel tooth ring version and indeed 75€ seems to be a recurrent price. Although this not being a plain steel sprocket might make it more "reasonable"
  13. Ah didn't know that one it's better to use than the french one i go to usually Didn't know the small bandits had the same pcd but that said the biggest available is 48 teeth. Looks like there won't be any off the shelf options unfortunately Had i kept 17 inch tyres i would be fine, but
  14. Hi. Didn't know that. But checking the microfiches the F has 6 cush rubbers and the R has 5 so the carriers can't be interchangeable
  15. Hey Does anyone know of a straightforward supplier who can produce custom sprockets without making 500 ? The situation is : - 1980 GSX 1100 - sling engine - slab fork and wheels problem is, since the gearing of the sling box and slab box are not the same, the baselines of the OE sprocket kit are not identical, and the PCD of the sprocket carrier not being the same, means - i can't fit a sling sprocket on the slab carrier - i can't find off the shelf a slab 51 tooth sprocket for the slab carrier Unless there is another carrier i could use but i doubt it i think the slab one is quite specific
  16. Quite rare though the 94-95 swinger i suppose the 4xv r1 is easier to find

    Frame brace

You'd be wise to keep them on
  18. I welded a CBR900 SC29 brace on my '89 GSXR 1100 swingarm and it looks quite at home. I then added a Gen 1 R1 mudguard on the brace, and the contours were compatible, so I guess that answers your question
  19. Brooks suspension but they are also in uk
  20. They don't need high oil pressure because of the roller bearing crank
  21. I have a great one on the shelf just had a deep service with all gaskets and seals done
