  1. Use the 750 cdi to raise the rev limit, bare in mind the heavier pistons and rods will stress stuff more. Don't get why people use the Dyna 2000 ign. Ignitech are half the price and have far more functionality.
  2. I think the mains are different sizes on the 1127 and 1152 motors. The j/k crank will fit the 1052 cases though. Set off busa 81mm pistons gives 921cc.
  3. Is that a draw through set-up with an intercooler? You must have to throw the main jet away to get that to run right.
  4. Where did the carb tops come from? I've got the same combo for my 750f
  5. I run the 750j/k forks in a couple of 750 slabbies'. Length wise they are fine, I run the bars under the yokes with 3- 5mm showing above the top yoke. One bike is a race bike with an 1100 motor, which I run stiffer springs in, but other wise the forks are stock. Ground clearance is fine, and I would think for road riding the stock springs will be ok. The 1100 frame is a little shorter than the 750 frame so has more weight on the front end so you will need to go stiffer on the springs if you start any track riding.
  6. You might get away with longer dog bones, but that would probably cause other issues. The mount that have been welded on look like a dogs breakfast. They need to come off, so you might as well do it right.
  7. Assuming the dog bones, rocker, and shock are all Bandit Items, I would find someone with a bandit frame and take some very careful measurements, relative to the bandit frame's swing arm pivot.
  8. That applies to the long stroke 750 motor, not the short stroke dot motor.
  9. Run a 10" rear wheel, it'll be reet. Looks like you need to start again from scratch there. Rocker pivot's in the wrong place on the frame, as is the shock mount. A little more to it than shock length.
  10. Thank you for that. Do you prefer the 1100 frame over the 750 chassis?
  11. The block and head are fine, but gudgeon pins are different sizes so the 750k pistons don't fit the 600 rods.
  12. Fill one of the cylinders with diesel on the compression stroke, and then turn the engine over.
  13. Lovely collection. What's the story/stories behind them?
  14. The 88 forks work a treat in Slabbies. 400 bucks sounds about right if it's more or less complete.
  15. Yeah, that bike looks frighteningly stock from the on board footage, but I know that stuff can be made to work pretty well. I think Steve Martin on a very trick Katana was around 6 seconds off the MotoGP boys around Philip Island.
  16. Nice find, cheers for that. About 15 seconds of the Motogp boys. Not too shabby.
  17. I have a 750 frame with resets from an 1100. So yes. Oh and while I'm here. Why can't I "like" posts anymore?
  18. Won't get any where near.
  19. Be very careful about paying up front with Trident.
