    Suzi 2

Great base for a cool project.... I do however .... can't get past the rear subbie ...... it just does'nt blend with the frame .
  4. …….and what's the point of all that ? just another freak hoarder .
  5. anyone have the carb spacing dimensions for the mk2 b12 ?
  6. well sir.....that just goes to show you how true "righteous" friends can be there in the good times and bad …….. money means nothing . What a beauty !
  7. so....good battery / ground / starter /……….probably improper crank main bearing / con rod bearing clearances...….either way you go …...will probably need to come apart and checked .
  8. …...bit of a band-aid indeed and takes up some realestate ! here is a simple kit I set-up several years ago on a drawthrough gsxr…...high pressure pump , nozzle and 1 way valve , adjustable hobbs switch and relay , water/meth tank underseat and pump under battery box ( which was relocated to the swingarm ) ……. worked great for what it's worth but still toasted some pistons just the same .
  9. …..I prefer rye bread when having a good smoke meat sandwich ….tried others but nothing beats a good rye !
  10. I have a L head on one of my spare 1052 motors.....so yes....they fit .
  11. easier just to put a rocker / tappet type head on than to fuck with machine shops .
  12. at that level of HP (300)…..the stock 1127 rods will most probably shit themselves very shortly….. 493's are an air cooled item which are pinned to roller bearing cranks so not even compatible with the oil cooled crankshaft.....busa rods can hold there own but from what I have researched are a gamble up around your target 300 …..Carrillo , Wossner ….to name a couple.....not too many big name manufacturers making oil cooled gsxr rods anymore.....
  13. can't be a bad thing to balance with gauges.... as each cylinder will have slightly different readings .
  14. Never opened eh...... be funny if he shipped you some rocks
  15. …..that would require a visit …..no conversation followed by a punch in the face
  16. this is from the Suzuki service manual for gsxr 1100 89-92 . I am assuming these are max / cracking pressure figures ?
  17. It states at max pressure ( relief valve psi crack ). Rpm .... would need to hook up a gauge and test .
  18. Bible says oil cooling circuit 72psi / lubrication circuit 101 psi.
  19. …..have you checked the oil pan for …..shall we say.....golden fairy dust mixed with the oil ?
  20. cut it off and make it right
  21. deffinately some issues with concentricity ! hopefully it is not welded yet as it can probably be indexed / trued .
  22. good to hear you are up and running ! I always hated that weak point of the efe ……
  23. Luke....how did you make out with the repair ?
