straight in..... well sort of ....as they are a more compact package as compared to an AC lump.....a bit of work as all mounts need to be addressed ..... but not as complicated as it sounds
the 96-00 and 01-05 b12 are the same axle/pivot shaft....the spar extrusions are slightly different......the wc bandits use a larger rear axle 25 mm but the pivots are the same as gen1-2
I can understand using a cad drawing for a “complete” motor mount plate fab.... but just for the lower mids ??? you already have the frame hole centers on your original bracket...,surely you can make the one remaining hole or are you just lazy ?
did this on a conventional milling.....15 years ago . all the info is lost somewhere in my thick skull ...... just five in .... take your measurements and get it going
I machined a new pivot / machined the arm and centralized the wheel / machined hub for chain run....., very doable and looks better than the vfr swinger
a small pointed awl or electronics flat blade screw driver to bend the small locking tab flush with the conector blade.... pull out from the rear of the block .
yes....yes it is always nice to see pictures....hence the "aircooled pictures thread" at the top of this section I ....probably amongst some others......could care less about how you feel because you sold your "baby" ...... we don't do that here .
