  1. .....hmmmm....I remember the tach wire being black with red tracer
  2. liquid wrench ........but over on your side of the pond it might be unavailable....but any quality penetrant will work . get as much of the crud out as you can.....loosen it up with a piece of stiff wire , poking down into the affected areas , compressed air and lots of fluid.......
  3. a good blast of penetrant down the stud holes ........let sit for a tad while the penetrant works its magic....... a few good taps front to back.....use a rubber mallet or a block of wood and hammer ....not to damage the block . choose the cam chain tunnel area as not to break the cooling fins
  4. .....have you checked the clearance from the push rod to hydraulic clutch piston ? if the rod is too long it will bottom out the piston , the clutch pack will not fully engage. as the fibers wear ....it will get worse .

  8. All this new tech traction control / braking etc etc takes away the thrill of riding ... I prefered watching the old moto gp bikes coming into a curve hard on the brakes and almost out of control .... throwing down the knee and accelerating hard while exiting the turn slightly broadside.....leaving a long strip of rubber behind ! Now it's all about a second faster without the excitement of a bike and rider on the edge

  13. bandit 12 / zrx 1100 / zrx 1200 / thunderace 1000 / srad 600 / tl 1000 / so many others but depends on the suspension set-up you want.......twin shock or mono ? I would say the front end will be taking a hike as well ?
  14. 6" wheel will not fit your frame width ....... frame mod would need to be done .
  15. I would say exhaust pulses and heat would be a factor here...... the exhaust temps would be greater , closer to the head.....which is good forturbo spool-up......further down the tract ....slower turbo spool . You would obviously need oil scavenge pump.....
