  1. I don't think so but an adult will no doubt be along soon to confirm or deny that
  2. can you post a link to it ?
  3. I knew it was one way or the other
  4. No you need 1100 ones That's why I asked as 750 ones have more teeth which would explain the idler not sitting down......are you sure the chain is correct for a 1127 motor ...
  5. The first 5 digits are the engine code and In all the charts i,ve seen on Suzuki Engine Codes they have never used O Post some pics of the engine and the no.....
  6. Not using 750 cam sprockets are you ?
  7. There actually made by an Australian Co .APE are just a distributor .. the one you show is the latest version which can also be purchased with a sight glass installed from some ... As has been said the Oil boiler one is a good fit there is also a bad "H" word bolt in one that i have seen used "but it looks crap"
  8. i,ve reused steel oil boiler base gaskets in the past ...Used Aerosol contact adhesive
  9. Ray Debben does nice work ... The Cylinder Head Shop used to be good as well but dont know if there still around You could also ask Jim Norman on faceache he has a good reputation for engine work....Link on EFE club page
  10. https://www.dragbike.com/race-machine-hayabusa-combustion-chamber-skull-installations/ ignore the bus reference its applicable to all
  11. I was chatting with someone at the weekend who chucks an obscene amount of Nos into GSX motors when i said how do the cracks in the head take that his response was when they get really bad we have to put even more in and then find a head with smaller cracks "there cheep" The fix on a drag bike is a skulled head ...but not a cheep exercise ... i stuck 20 psi in my drawthru without any dramas
  12. Looks Like an EFE Swinger to me which you can get a 5.5" wheel in
  13. Oooh right didn't know that loopie had a flow bench
  14. i was lead to understand the M , N 1100 shim heads were best flowing stock head,s
  15. For what its worth a new 2nd gear is £63...and a new 5th is £96 ish https://www.suzukiparts.co.uk/shop/online-store/suzuki-parts-finder/gsx-r/gsx-r1100/k-l-1989-1990.htm?vehicle_id=49#!gsxr1100kltrans
  16. i,ve got a mixture of B12 gears and GSXR bits in mine... one of the B12 bearings is different and there are minor input shaft differences "length" but they can all be made to work Frankenstein's guide covers most of it
  17. As the K had the better "IMO" coil spring clutch so from the pics you posted i,d say its an 1100L motor ... Normal 2nd and 5th carnage ........The Gears on later M , N models had a better undercut on the gears ... You can mix and match gear,s from all the 1127 & 1157 motors "well i have" i think the water boilers use the same box as well It's worth checking on robinsons site as the gears sometimes pop up on sale...and i've bought good complete gearbox,s of ebog for not much $$
  18. My understanding is that V711 is GSX-R1100.
  19. 1100 k has a coil spring clutch..not a diaphragm one
  20. correct so i must have used a gsxr return cable which is screw in
  21. no idea was in my box bits but it came off a gsxr The point was to show how a gsxr cable could be used ..........
  22. I used GSXR cable and the GSXR throttle tube in the EF switch
