  1. my GS1000E had 26mm carbs, only S has 28mm IIRC
  2. what's wrong with draining the oil again? Just use a clean container and you can put it back in the engine afterwards. I'm sure you have a kitchen at home with clean containers in it.
  3. well the sprocket cover is one of the first things to remove when doing an engine swap, so you'll find out soon enough anyway.
  4. the GSX1100F is commonly known as the Powerscreen, because of the electric adjustable windscreen. About the camshafts I have no idea.
  5. check the obvious first... front sprocket nut has come loose? Sound like exact same symptoms a neighbour had with his R6 last year, and it was just a loose front sprocket.
  6. what if the secondary tank is already full and the FPR is trying to return fuel into it? Fuel return should be as unrestricted as possible. Better to connect it to the main tank IMO.
  7. no, that's an ES. EF has full fairing. And welcome @akronos
  8. they came from the factory with a 170 rear tyre. 5,5" rim can take a 180 tyre. I've had 180's on mine for as long as I can remember. And depending on the tyre manufacturer, 180's vary in width from 175 to 185.
  9. as far as I understand, OP has a complete SRAD 600 and bought a 750 engine to install, but got an EFI engine. Just the engine, nothing more.
  10. 750 Carbs CDI will not plug into the 750 EFI loom. About the other questions, basically the 600 and 750 SRAD lumps are the same, with only minor differences. I guess everything can be swapped.
  11. run exhaust gasses from a car through the tank for some time. All petrol fumes are gone then, happy and safe welding.
  12. that first one (black) and the last white one is for an ET frame, the other white drawings are for an EFE frame. And IIRC the dimensions for the bottom rear mount are not correct.
  13. oil pan + pick-up swap is done for exhaust header clearance (if needed), not to fit a certain frame.
  14. and of course check the swingarm and rear wheel bearings

  16. No tooth count is different ... EFE basket only fits EFE
  17. Welcome to group therapy. If you install the Zuma 750 alternator on the B12 engine, make sure the amount of teeth on the driven gear is the same. Swap if needed. I am running my B12 engine on a GSX-R750 CDI and it all works well. Just keep the higher rev limit in mind and it will be ok. The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) does f#ck all by the way, you can leave it disconnected.
