  1. It is a bit but you get comp and rebound damping as well as fully adjustable preload I’m 18 atone and needed a slightly stiffer spring to get 25 mm of sag
  2. Yes, is it a Mark 1 or mark 2 bandit shock as they are differnat lengths. Ive used K7/8 1000 shocks on abouit 12 or more of the B12's ive owned all mark 1's.. my shiny heron one has one on with a stiffer spring for the larger gentelman
  3. Yes because we all know a bandit cant be made to turn in, Steer or handle, don't we
  4. I had an R6 gel on in the seat of me 'arris, apparently it was an LT12B-4???? according to the Tanya website I do remember there wasnt a lot of room and it was laid down..
  5. £319 for a battery!! plus £113.40 for the tray!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole bike above didn't cost much more than that.
  6. years ago i built ths b12 below, then i found out i had limited space for a battery, in the garage i had a CBR400 gull arm so nicked the battery as it was alot smaller, worked fine cranking it over, kept it on an optimate though..
  7. first mod I was advised to do to My TL when I started racing it was, fit a 600 SRAD 5.5 inch rear with a 180 55, to make it turn quick, and it did
  8. Heres one I made 12 years ago, 6 inch rear end from a k 4 1000 I think,, the sprocket offset is the same though, 2 mm spacer under sprocket to end of spline, turned rear sprocket over and gained 2 mm, turned 5 mm off the carrier spacer and trimmed the rubbers so it moved to starboard 5 mm, that made 9 mm to the right , chain cleared frame and just cleared the tyre, looked good but was definitely to fat as it turned slower than with 180 rear.
  9. I’ve said it before, but I think it’s worth saying again……. Bugger me that’s shiny….
  10. I can like I said, when i get home.. i have my 1200 and alos a box of mastercylinders I can photgraph
  11. Nope, ive owned all 3 at various times..
  12. Nope Mk1 is early 1996-2000, 1200 oily cooled, Mk2 is later 2000-2006 oil cooled 1250 is the so called Mk3 water cooled but shouldnt be called a Bandit at all. I have a pair of Mk1 1200 mastercylinders at home, ill dom pic after work, but levers are differant between Mk1 and 2, due to slight differences in the master cylinders. Lots of places advertise the same after market lever for Mk1 and 2's but they dont fit both.............
  13. That’s what I thought when I saw it..
  14. the suzuki ones are 2,3 x 87 OD, almost impossible to find, i use these from simply bearings, 4 quid for 2. https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/Seals-O-Ring-Seals-NITRILE-O-Rings/c19_4501_4705/index.html?selection=Nitrile+Rubber+O-Rings
  15. yes, bottom rear hole is 10 mm on 750's and 12 mm on 1100/1200'S
  16. recently bought a 1200 engine jumping out of 2nd gear, dogs worn, and a bottom end with allegedly good gear box for £300 the pair. The cost for swopping gear boxes is all time, hardly and parts needed except a clutch nut and cover gaskets, it was worth a go as IF i ever get the time to do it, the complete engine will be worth upwards of 400-500 quid and the cases with a good crank aonther couple of hundred??? Thats of course if nother else is shot when i pull them apart..
  17. the oil cooled ones have spacing of 214 mm the same as water cooled but the stem offset is differant, O/C 35mm W/C 32mm so you cnat mix and match, How do I know?? yes i bought a pair with no stem and it was only when i fitted stem it became apparent the off set was different But SRAD 750/TL/early Busa have the same 32mm offset, but bottom yokes are 55mm TL and Busa, srad are 54 mm. tops are all 50mm so can be used with a top hat spacer to take up the difference in stem diameter.
  18. early busa 1999-2006 or gsxr K1-4 are 330mm and fit with a squueze, Mk2 bandit are 320mm i have fitted 2 of the busa ones to Mk2 's ..
  19. Look at Dale Walkers Holeshot in The US, he dose some good stuff, I have his standard bore high com0 pistons in one of mine, and it is excellent
  20. 750 j/k Dot head cams are rarer than rocking horse shite…… There is one year of GSXR 1100 with the same cams, they have a B stamped on the right hand end…. im running standard bandit CDI and coils on all 3 Bikes and. get the gearing right will help a lot..
