I might file the pointy sharp corners off, just been to the roundabout at the end of the road and the position felt mucho better might make a heel guard for the port side to keep clear of the chain.. that should be it for Anglesey now..

Moved the lever around a bit and tried the pegs for position very comfy but still looks untidy

yes but the bracket bolted to a bracket and the lever in the wrong place it just looks untidy??????????????

Mmmmmmm not sure about this at all But needs must and all that got to crack on as no time before Classic day at Anglesey so make it work and sort it out later at least the pegs are in the right place now

I’m going to reuse it later, but as I have only 3 weeks until Anglesey I just need some pegs in a place that is slightly comfortable. So the pegs I have will do for now..

Did you have anything to do with this, RR Spey wooden model we had at work for disposal

with the oid footpegs in place it held the rear master cylinder..

What steering stem is in the yoke in the 88 front end.? and the 600 wheel can be used with a 1200 swinger with the right spacers

The pre load adjuster has probably come apart or the wrong sized spacer, or no spacer fitted to the fork with the play.. the stem will be an early 600 one as they are sometimes 0.1 mm smaller for some unfathomable reason, and need knurling to make fit proporly, ive done it several times and it works well.. or get hold of a 1200 stem or later 600 one.
