  1. Mk1 and mk2 1200’s are the same, 600 different
  2. Sounds ambitious, I had a K4 1000 years ago and did some measuring up with a spare bandit frame, it was a bit of a night mare, cant remember which way but frame needded chopping and welding....... so gave up, this is why many years later i stuck the big bore bandit motor in the teapot..much easier....
  3. Used Kent cams a few times in Bandit engines, they work well, they we’re exchange regrinds, .. Never used adjustable sprockets on them with no I’ll effects. Can’t remember exactly but I recall they were expensive, it used to be cheaper to get Dothead 750 cams but the6 are like rocking horse shite, none around for sensible money. live also used Grumpy,s cams as well.
  4. What happens when your not paying attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a dipstick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Now that was fun!!! only stopped as engine mount came loose and it started vibrating like an old Triumph….
  6. firstly perhaps it would be prudent to read the rules at the top shipmate
  7. you can do the gearbox without stripping the top end, just whip the bottom off.
  8. new second hand ones.. old ones.....
  9. The selector forks in the picture, they are shagged, worn, bent and have overheated..went in the bin
  10. lots of the part numbers are different for the gears unfortunately???
  11. https://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/category/the-vault/page/3 its all in Frankensteins guide. I was going to read it all to let you know, but cant be arsed this one was exactly what you described, jumping in and out of 2nd... young kid moaning that it was supposed to be buillit proof, but broke.. Talked to his dad when i picked it up, he would start it every morning and immediately wheelie up the road stone cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Cheers for the offer, shipmate, I’ll have it to bits after the Anglesey classic festival
  13. Yup hopefully they just plopped into the sump and are sat there
  14. Yup they usually are, just checked my other engines
  15. This was one I put together from bits of 4 engines as a spare…. It ended up in my bandit as bandit motor was in teapot…. bottom end came from a power screen engine I bought for peanuts, can’t remember having alternator off, just looked in sump cleaned strainer and put it back together…..81mm barrels, set or second hand wiseco 1216 pistons with one set or rings missing, spare mr upperton head Gsxr1100 cams, it went surprisingly well for a bitza!, probably should have checked the alternator gear. hopefully nuts and washer are in sump
  16. Hopefully Clive….. With luck the nut and washer plopped into the sump and didn’t get tangled up with anything else. anyway swapping engines from teapot to bandit before Angelsey in 2 weeks….. I’ll look at it later.
  17. pulling motor from bandit as it started rattling and feeling strange at Casle Coombe last week... Fek my old boots!! that explains a lot
  18. He’s right you know……… where does the hole go????
  19. You have obviously missed the bit where you buy a manual and read it, if you don’t know whether you need to remove the cams, then you really need to read it……… 1st thing to consider, endless or split link!
  20. Ah, yours is. 750, mines 1100 didn’t realise.. I thought they were all the same, obviously not
