  1. Don't make any sense that, shipmate??????? The output shaft bearing isn't a shell, if that is what you mean.. its a large roller, and what do you mean by cases being "proper"???
  2. Fitting a new bearing is not quite as easy as a new seal!!!!!!! you have to split the crankcases
  3. Have you got standard exhaust and air box???
  4. Slight movement????? should be no moivement at all, did your "mechanic" take the chain off and give it a good jiggling about????? if there is a mm differance then somthing is wrong..
  5. 85 mm, i can send you the link if you like
  6. There should be some blood on the frame rail, form where it squashed my finger getting the engine OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Paul, Did you get a sniff of the cider or did Clive swig the lot??
  8. I must admit i was very confudsed when I saw a set with no holes..
  9. I always do the pre load first to get the correct sag for my weight, as there are no "standard" settings as everyone is different, especially us larger Gentelmen And then set comp and rebound in the middle click position, and try that.
  10. I drilled two holes in the spacer tube and used the compressor I had, it seems some have holes and some dont??
  11. therer is a new version now YOSHIMURA : PRO-GRESS2 Multi-temp Meter [419-P02-0100] (webike.net)
  12. Iv e had this for several years, on several differant bikes, just need the correct thread sensor for sump or oil gallery. And "YES" it was expensive.........
  13. Has the rear bottom mount been enlarged to 12mm or a smaller 10mm bolt fitted and holes left at 10mm????
  14. I did indeed.... and i didnt realise they came with balck faces until i had already ordered one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Part numbers are different also the idler gears have different number of teeth., B12/1127 idler has 12/53 gsxr J 750 has 12/52 so something is different, starter motor spline where it engages with the larger bit of the idler mabey??? But if you swapped the idler as well, it might all work??
  16. I was just thinking that looks very similar to the exhaust on my Moto martin, but the pipes arnt in the right place,?? perhaps the down pipes have been mixed up????
  17. And if it is a 1990 L the drain tubes are different to the 1200 bandit ones , so are needed as well
  18. This was going to be my stock spare engine, but now stuff has changed and I no Longer need a spare so it will be moved on soon
  19. I heard it running but couldn't ride it, but the bloke whos bike i took it out of was certain there were no issues with the box, I replaced this engine with a power screen motor for him, thats the only reason its been removed, ive seen the MOT history as well so im as confidant as I can be its kosher milage
  20. checked valve clearances and all good. all in all in good nick for a 26 k miler.
  21. removed oil pressure switch and istalled pressure guage filled with oil linked the oil cooler ports with an hose i made up and wound it over, 35- 40 psi manual says between 40 - 60 psi at 3000 rpm so thats good did compression with a crappy push in guage all about the same but couldnt get accurate readings, ive ordered a proper adaptor to screw it in.
