  1. So this cover will bolt on to a b12 head ?
  2. How about an eye ball ?
  3. Cut the frame !!!! Are you mad !
  4. you can widen the frame rather easily .....without channeling or bashing it with a bfh . I've done 4 already with great results .....currently running k5 6" wheel and swinger without any modifications to the wheel spacers or sprocket hub . give me a shout and I will be happy to pass on the info .....or go to my project thread and get an idea .
  5. Dump the cv's and all the related tunning bs / airbox / fucking hoses ..... tmr's are for the rich....but come with the "ooohhh ahhhh" factor ...... rs's are ok but lack the roller slides which make them a bit sloppy.... 36 or 38's are where the fun is......fcr's will get you where you need to be ....37 or 39's.... unless you live at 10k and only ride wot..... go bigger
  6. The big twins use compression release valves on the heads to get cranking up to speed .... or perhaps you may need a second switchable battery to help out ?
  7. ...sounds like you are running cv carbs . Your problems with slide lift are common ...... don't waste anymore money on jet kits and other trinkets.....sell off the cv's..... invest in a set of smooth bore carbs ..... you will not regret it !
  8. Go to the "all balls" bearing site.... there is a fork swap guide.... excellent info there .
  9. the ones I had were all equipped with lugs.....they had some sort of plastic plug pushed in the threaded portion ......that being the ....full faired / half faired and naked .
  10. Sounds like quite a few have good things to say about lpm...... going to try em' out ! ..... as for fettishes ..... hehehe
  11. On the fiberglass replicas.... has anyone experienced cracks in the paint from shrinkage ?
  12. ..... what firms are out there that make a quality repro kat fairing ? Fiberglass / abs .... ready to paint .
  13. ..... so yes..... front end is 750 katana US .... teapot UK.....motor is a gs1150 with gs/katana engine covers ! Good score !
  14. ..... anything is possible in the US market..... gs1000s katana / gs700es.... for example . The "teapots" as stated from our UK friends were also known as "kanatuna's" stateside.....
  15. Take a pic of upper tripples and check the front wheel casting for the rim size ..... 3.00x17 for example......swapping all the running gear depends on what you want to do riding wise .... road race / street sport/ drag....
  16. Welcome ... 82' kat frame.....engine covers .....clutch/stator/ignition are katana/gs ..... possibly a kat 1100 bottom with the barrells and cylinder head from a gs 1150/efe..... oldschool roundslide mechanical carbs.... wolf pipe.... rear shocks are just lowering struts....forks appear to be katana 600 / 750 .... early 90's.... interceptor mudgaurd
  17. ...... nothing..... topic is dead now so move along .... chop chop
  18. Well .... those Koni's are not oem .....so a interweb search might score you a parts list
  19. ..... perhaps you can pass along the seal info for others wanting to refurb thiers ?
  20. ........ .....YOU AGAIN ........ someone makes an effort to help you out and you still find a way to shit on them. Like a spoiled little shit having a temper tantrum because it was not "exactly" what you were looking for ...... I thought I told you a little ways back to "get a rope....find a tree "
  21. ...... sort of like a good blowjob without the happy ending.
  22. ....in the second picture.... the upper case has slight machining as compared to the 1127.....as in just small areas where the paint was removed because of the bore trueing.... which leaves me to believe this area too has been altered in the casting process .... Unfortunately I don't have an empty 1127 case to compare with .
