  1. ...... can you imagine that shaft snapping where the joint is when it comes time to replace the bearing .... fuckn hack.... just put a proper shaft in there.....
  2. ...... how about a 3 way distribution block ? L/R sides threaded for banjo , center portion is a through hole for banjo bolt......
  3. ..... if you are using banjo type fitting at the oil feed..... simply use a double long banjo and seperate line to turbo .
  4. Aaaaaaaahhhhh shut up already
  5. 304 is good..... 316.... 321 is best . Cut with thin cut off wheel or if you have a good bandsaw with coolant .
  6. ..... while checking the upper case on my spare 1052 gsxr motor as it will be fitted with bandit 12 barrells.....I noticed the amount of surface area around the lower cylinder mating surface compared to the bandit is quite a bit . Now.... seeing how this 1052 has already been bored to accept 1127 barrells.....has anyone compared the 1127 upper case to the bandit case ? The sleeves are larger on the bandit and the upper case has very minimal boring .....I do believe the gsxr 1127 has a slightly smaller case opening...... perhaps the castings were modified from Suzuki when the bandit was introduced ?
  7. ....is that a wood chisel on the floor ? What could you possibly need that for on a motorcycle
  8. What is your project ? Do you fancy spoked or mag wheels ?
  9. .........alignment of the front and rear wheels is the ONLY!!!!!! method to achieve correct handling......and using your mothers sewing rule is NOT the proper method of metrology ......put the fuckn tools away...get a rope....find a tree.....
  10. Original thread posted by Dlindberg....... casually hijacked by boil dude.....Where is the OP ?.....
  11. your current set up looks like left turns will be hindered by the air filter sticking out too far , the center line of the turbine shaft should be a little higher for gravity return....be careful with the amount of angle you set at the flange too.... and why schedule 40 pipe ???? that will be alot of weight (including the turbo) hanging off the cylinder head . thinner wall (.062" - .074" ) 304 stainless or better yet some 321stainless would be my choice here .....purge your welds ....makes for cleaner / solid penetration . when setting up the turbo placement , make sure you raise the fork tubes in the trees to replicate maximum fork compression and give yourself a little extra......forks will flex on hard braking / wheelies.....and wheel to turbo contact could result in ...shall we say....soiled pants .
  12. probably 5w judging how soft they were .....up it to 10w depending on what you want to do......
  13. Ooooohhhh..... very nice ! Thnx a bunch
  14. ....looking for the thread size and pitch of a gsxr oil boiler triple tree spindke...... thnx
  15. Can of guiness works good too .
  16. Depending on how much rust is inside the tube..... welding will be tough because of contamination . I have seen worse.... but rebuilding the problem area can be done .
  17. search "fork matrix" ......perhaps some others out there on the spider web .
  18. You surely like to complicate things.......
  19. Bike is toast..... I'll take it of your hands and spare you the grief of fixin' it .....
  20. Your gs1150 frame is wider at the swingarm pivot than the 80-83 gs1100....the pivot shafts are the same diameter....I assume your swingarm/240 tire uses an outtigger ?
