  1. Sorry I sold the 750 arm I had sometime ago ....Del is the oracle on parts ... They look to have used all GSXR parts with the exception of the bottom link which is blandit... this on its own is compromising the set up..it looks like the shock will rub the link when the suspension unloads... Ok in my opinion ..the top shock mount is a bit low and the bottom link mount to high this in turn puts the geometry of the blandit lower link out of kilter hence it being very stiff.... it would improve to some degree with the correct btm link .... 1st pic shows the correct bottom link.... 2nd pic is top shock mount on same bike...
  2. The rear end looks like GSXR 1100 or 750..the 750 being about 30mm shorter ..... I notice that it looks like it still has the stock air box....If so that will compromise the top shock mount location..... a pic of the linkage with out side panel on would help..as we like pics..........
  3. Yes the 1135 motor is a longer stroke than the oil boiler ...but it also has a flat sump... the water boiler micron on mine has had about 15mm taken out of the down pipes and the collector modified to get it tight to the sump... the 1100L had the shallowest sump I think as it had twin silencers and the bandit has an offset deeper section to clear the 4 -1.....as long as you use the pick up that matches the sump they swop over ... all the microns I've seen on oil and water boilers are quite tight to the sump....
  4. In that case I would have thought the micron would be the best option but would need the 4-2-1 modding to miss the pegs "assuming you have stock pegs and hangers" I cut and carved a Micron from a water boiler to fit my EFE "but it still has the Air-cooled Proper Engine "
  5. Post a pic of the bike....I know those that have mounted the engine to the rear of the frame have problems ....
  6. They are the best even if Trev is an ass at times.....but he found a problem with the material he originally used in the earlier ones was not 100% compatible with Unleaded Pi55 so changed it.......was some time ago when he used to post constructive stuff on forums before just slagging off every one else's stuff ...
  7. Just noticed you have some of Trev's earlier solenoid's have you had the O-rings changed to suit unleaded ,,,,he was doing free a few years back
  8. Ok one for the gixerphiles ....for a coil spring 1100 clutch ..... Anybody know the spring free length Item 13 and the spacer length Item 12....Please
  9. TBH a better tyre would help .."easy fix"....It span the 1/4 on the last run I know as It reached 5th......LoL no Its a bit lively until it settles down in 3rd then I struggle to see the tacho with me head down .. I'm going to sort the tyre and play with the clutch "static pressure" ..then maybe change gearing I would like more springs in the clutch to make it more tuneable on the static...TBH...... and Suzuki plates have gone crap of late I think they are using a different material as they are bone dry after 2 runs.....
  10. Its geared tall TBH....hit 4th at 1000ft ..And roll it off steady at Long Marston let engine and box do the work slowing down always enjoy the Bulldog....will wait and see what they say for 2018.....Yes we should be at Hot Rod Drags ..... I tend to punch 2nd & 3rd early and late on 4th.....
  11. Well Bulldog 2017 now over ...no prize this year....But New PB speed 158mph.... and found that Boost Gauge's are just like Tacho's... they go all the way round .
  12. What did it make BHP wise then ?
  13. http://www.jwmotorcycles.co.uk/ would be close to you .......................and very good I,m told
  14. I would guess that the 750 is easier ...as the 1100 engine is slightly taller ......
  15. All the cheap GSXR 1000 headers I've seen on ebog are log style ....from ting tong land I've made 2 sets of draw thru headers and there's 20+ hrs. in a set.....parts were £125 ish and I made the collector ... there's not a lot of profit doing them as one offs
  16. It swallowed a tiny stone flicked up by the back tyre while doing burnout at a RWYB.... held no 3 inlet valve open.. So horny piston kisses valve ..rod goes south in a bendy sort of way piston disintegrated taking out the liner and crank......I have it on video some-ware .... I still have the block need to get round to fitting new liner one day..... Here's the Horny Rod after kissing the naughty valve
  17. 1st one I did was a 1260 with a gsxr dot head ran on the street no probs...only died when it ate a stone at east Kirkby
  18. put the no,s into Gearing Commander and see the difference they make
  19. yes ....post edited "I did 3 gallons not Lts" "reading posts on dam phone again" as you say 3 Lts would be 2.22Kg using 0.74g Lt...............
  20. 185kg with 3 litres of fuel that's some weight loss..."170Kg with out fuel"...given a 2016 GSXR 1000 tips the scales at 204Kg..... tell us the secret to the weight loss...............as I,ve struggled to get mine down to 220Kg even with a lighter engine............... back to the clutch a GSXR 1000 has about 170bhp power is very liner with no spikes and no huge torque fig ..and the stock clutch copes if not abused . it has a nicely engineered smooth cable and run ."wheelies and drag starts soon have it over heating and starting to grab then slip"..... fatty has "lets be generous" 130bhp.....which come,s in far from smooth and a load more torque....the stock clutch copes just about ok with this if in good order .. but poor cable run wrong cable / clutch perch poor adjustment worn clutch hub non stock friction plates / warped steel's and H/D springs... conspire to make its operation heavy.....
  21. Less torque and the bikes are half the weight of 80,s stuff ..
  22. Correct btm one is Blandit
  23. They made two frame,s with adjustable head stocks if I recall. And they looked fragile to say the least....
  24. Yes if you drop a ball bearing in the hole 1st
