Before I screw myself with more virtually unusable parts. Does anybody know what series those wheels are. And is there a retarded solid version I need to watch out for as well?

it's ok. No question of retrofitting. They would be for another slingshot or a bandit. But you're saying those were never made for slingshots even?

What are they called and is there a solid version to be avoided. Does anybody know. That is all.

I suppose it would help if I actually put something about wheels in the thread title. I shoot myself in the foot sometimes.

Think they are Performance Machine beadlock aftermarket wheels. They do a lot of made to order stuff. Mainly hardlymoovinsons.  Think the hub is bolted to the wheel ctr. Certainly a thick HEAVY set of wheels there. They would bling up a treat! Add some neon lights, and chrome accents and yer in. Lol. Don't doooo it.

Just looked again and see the spokes are not solid soooo they could be lighter than they look. Back in the day PM used to call that range the chicane series. Lots around in the drag racing world. They did make them for kz,gs,gsxr.

Forgot another point is PM,s "race" wheels are thinner gauge ally than their road wheels so bend easier if you hit stuff with them Like potholes and small wildebeest.

I suppose they are a bit on the gaudy side. Thought they might look good on a 1st gen bandit 1200s with half fairing. Un blandify it a little bit without doing silly things like chopping the subframe. I suppose just those and the exhaust would be a silly reason to buy a whole bike when I've got a similar condition slingshot project already.

.....YOU AGAIN ........ someone  makes an effort to help you out and you still find a way to shit on them. Like a spoiled little shit having a temper tantrum because it was not "exactly" what you were looking for ...... I thought I told you a little ways back to "get a rope....find a tree "

Had to chuckle at the irony of a set of wheels mainly intended for slow moving Hogs being called 'chicane' xD
