KATANAMANGLER Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 That is absolutely beautiful. Spokies and the tank cut outs. It's too much for one post. Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Well thank you gentlemen, I must admit im still not 100% convinced as I really liked it with the white wheels and 6 pot Nissins....But im coming round slowly Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Anyway now I survived the Cadwell park classic track day, its time for the 1216 big bore lumpy cammed engine to be fitted for a bit more go, as its got a 1200 abndti with gsxr 750 cams in it at the moment 1 Quote
gray711 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Always a pleasure to look at your bikes. Built to use in anger too, not just for show n shine purposes 1 Quote
RojoMojo Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Very nice indeed, gotta say i like the wire wheels. I like the retro look of them i think it suits the build, lovely job. Quote
kiwi Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Gary IMO i think its psychological as yes wire wheels are retro but how many Harris's do you see fitted with them, the White looked better but wires are different. Quote
Captain Chaos Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 paint the wire wheels white, everybody happy 2 Quote
spondonturbo Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 paint the wire wheels white, everybody happyhaha - good answer Quote
SiBag Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I did like reading the build of this off the old site. Quote
fatblokeonbandit Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 (edited) The engine in this is a 1200 bandit with 750 j/k cams, makes 124 rwhp on Mr Blackmore's dyno in brizzle. My Bandit is a 1216/upperton/gsxr cammed 150rwhp and its much quicker ..This is a 1216 high comp Head by fast by Gast, kent road and track cams, so should make 140+ ish.. so its time to fit it and make it go as good as it looks.... Fliipin' 'eck, I though I felt something touch down last weekend at Cadwell!!! Edited July 18, 2015 by fatblokeonbandit 1 Quote
