  1. Hi, not sure if you are still looking but if you search fleabay for 'GSX-R 1100 91/92 Streetfighter Heck Höcker seat' there's German company selling ones which seem to follow the lines quite nicely. Make sure the search is "Worldwide" . cheers
  2. I have a set of Fastec Crash bungs that they do for 1200 Blandit's, seems to be a lot of that style about. I am limited on points to bolt anything else on apart from front and / or rear engine mounts on the frame but will see if can get some nylon or such like bungs and try and make something fit as well.
  3. Cheers...Yep i know there is a risk with this, but i a have built a Cafe Racer using a Hard Up Choppers frame and a lot of 1100M running gear and these will bolt straight one, but i am also thinking i should probably try and fit something to front engine mounts on the frame as well ...
  4. Hi, i am going to fit some crash bungs to my 1991 1100M motor and will be bolting them on using the the 4 side plug fittings but i cannot see a torque value in my manual for these, it does show a value for the 1100K motors but these are different to 1100M motors but wonder if the torque value is the same? For the 1100K my manual says 25-30N-m or 18-21.5 ib-ft. Can anyone if this applies to the 1100M as well? Cheers Rojo
  5. Hi, i used them to rebuild / repaint and put all stainless fittings on all 3 calipers on my 1100M and i was please with the result, although they are not cheap. But the calipers look and feel brand new. My bike had been well abused before i got it and the calipers were pissing out fluid, and were a light grey colour, once i finally got 25 years worth of shite off them.Having never really found a decent brake fluid resistant paint to paint calipers in when i tried in the past i weighed up how much it would cost for me to get them vapor blasted and coated somewhere and then buy all new seals / bolts and pistons (i need be) and decided sending them off and getting them back a couple of weeks later was just an easier option. I would use them again, but of course this is only my opinion. Cheers Rojo
  6. Hi, can any advise me on the the 2 swinging arm thrust washers Suzuki list as part numbers 08211-20381 and 08211-20382. The first one is listed as 1mm thick, the second is 1.5mm thick, but the parts diagram i have both shows them as number '7' on the picture with no indication which side either one should be fitted to? So as sat on the bike does any one know which side the 1.5mm washer needs to go? When i dropped my swinging arm out it only had one washer which i didn't notice until it dropped on the floor and i didn't see which side it came from. I have just had my frame / swinging are painted and want to sling it back together asap but need to know which side these fit, any help much appreciated. Cheers Rojo
  7. Captain, I was probably using the wrong terminology, my thinking was if the pitch was smaller, the diameter of the spockets would need to be slightly smaller to still have the same amount of teeth, thus it would effect the speed, (slightly)...anyway it is a moot point as the pitch is the same. I didn't mean to hijack the original question posed, so hopefully Jay got the answers he was after. Cheers.
  8. Looks like i was talking twaddle earlier...for some reason i had assumed the pitch on a 532 and a 530 chain would be slightly different, hence i assumed this would would have a slight change of gearing. Luckily my stupidity has been pointed out and i have just seen the pitch is the same at 15.88mm ...
  9. Just checked my parts manual for my 91M 1100, front sprocket is 15t, (part number 27510-48B00) rear is 48t (part number 64511-40C01), not sure if this helps any? ... I have a yet to be fitted 530 chain conversion using a superprox rear sprocket which is 48t and renthal front sprocket on 15t...i totally forgot changing the pitch of chain could change the gearing. Will be interesting to see if i notice much difference...
  10. Hi, not sure model 1100 you are referring to, i just checked my 1991 1127M Slingshot and on my standard adjusters its an M8 thread, i have set of trick stainless steel ones and again it's M8. Hope this helps!
  11. Hi, for a hugger try contacting 'Katana' on this site, I was looking for a hugger (which I have now got), he offered me 3... I got it else where so he may still have them.
  12. Wow, the bike screams oldskool attitude, love it, great build.
  13. Ok, thanks guys, looks like something for me to try once i get it all legal. Can anyone tell if you are able to slot the top left screw hole? Having just seen a piccy of an 1100M back plate on Fleabay it looks like there's bugger all to slot in that corner as the screw hole is right near the edge anyway...The Parts PDF i have shows a similar picture, so do you just rely on the other 2 screws to hold it all in place? Cheers
  14. Hi, Jaydee, i was erring on around 25mm as a 'guesstimate', so thanks for providing the thickness of the standards clip ons, i'll have a play and see what things feel like. Cheers
  15. So i am nearing the end of my project build i it has just dawned on me that i may need drop my forks through the yokes a bit. I have clip-ons fitted under the yokes and the top of my forks are a couple of mm above the top yoke, but i have just realised on a standard 1127 Slingshot the bars bolt on above the top yoke and thus the forks must be dropped through the yokes by 'X' amount to get these to fit. Can any one tell me by how much? I know there may be a degree of individual set up / preference but i think starting from standard my be a good place to begin... My donor bike was streetfightered (badly) with wide bars on risers so i have no point of reference. The bike will mainly be used on the road and maybe the odd track day. Cheers
