Curlytops Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Hi... Just thought Id say hello and post some pics of my latest project. Got this from a dealer who wanted it out of the way, someone tried to steal it and wrecked the wires trying to hotwire it. Runs and rides fine so gonna sort the wires and get it out on the road! To be honest ive never heard of a Inazuma ... Im assuming it sharers parts with other models if I need any bits...they seem to be a bit sparce here in the UK. 7 Quote
davecara Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Welcome! For all intents and purposes, the 'zuma is a twin shock bandit. Very modifyable and can be made into a pretty cool bike Get a project thread going and some more pics! We like pics.. 1 Quote
Duckndive Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Eblag France and Germany can be useful places to find Zuma bits... But as said lot of bandit and gsxr parts are same .. Quote
TonyGee Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 yeah the UK did get a small amount of 750's but not so much the 1200. its very similar to the bandit and lots of interchangeable parts. I bought a 750 zuma frame and put a 1200 bandit engine, then fitted some katana bits. 19 Quote

Curlytops Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 Thanks for the welcome..I shall start a project thread tomorrow when its delivered... thanks for the parts info I was beginning to wonder where I would get bits from! Quote
davecara Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Get your thread going, you’ll get everything you need here Quote
denisd Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Howdy doody curly, that's a nice project. Quote
Tony Nitrous Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 Welcome. I look forward to seeing more. The 7 and 12 Inazuma’s and the GS1200SS aren’t common oilcoolers around here, or ones I’ve owned, but I do find them interesting. I’ve owned a couple of K*w*saki 750 Zephys and the Inazuma has very similar styling, but much more appeal with its oilcooled lump. Certainly a bike on my watch list. 1 Quote
Duckndive Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 My 750 Started like this And Now looks like this with 1216 motor 6 Quote

Kimberkatana Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Wouldn't mind finding one of these ! Then persuading the house beast it'd be a good addition to the garage !! Quote

Curlytops Posted January 7, 2023 Author Posted January 7, 2023 Well got the front of the inazuma all put back together and the wires sorted. Runs and rides perfect, next job is to paint the rack and torque arm on the rear brake and then bleed the brakes. Then its off to the MOT station where it will hopefully pass. 4 Quote

Fatmama Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 yeah, Inazumas are fun. check the Tank, the 750 have tank rust issues and the tanks are the hardest parts to source, near unbtainium. France and Germany have biggest communities and forums for them welcome to oss. Quote
wraith Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Think he has sold it, or it was on FB for sale 1 Quote
