  1. You had it running without the clutch basket and the noise was gone? The clutch also drives the oil pump and the generator. Maybe the generator driven sprocket is loose?
  2. vanuit het westen eerst wat dijken, dan de Veluwe, niks saais aan. Wel druk in het weekeinde.
  3. working on a ditch pump today, found this in the intake manifold. Good for at least an extra 20 kW. Then again on a Harley anything is an improvement.
  4. I remember when I paid 5 euros to get in oldmanyellingatclouds.gif
  5. 13291-29900 washer, pilot screw 13295-29900 O-ring https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu/en/suzuki-parts/1991-gsx-r750-motorcycles/carburetor numbers 55 and 56
  6. if in doubt, check this out http://www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue/
  7. early 4,5" wheels have 5 bolt sprockets IIRC, all the others shoud be the same with 6 bolts
  8. yes the RF900 is an awesome long distance/high speed cruiser. A bit like a modern version of a faired EFE.
  9. moved this to oilcooled since a GSX1400 is also oilcooled
  10. the outer basket is connected to the crankshaft, the inner basket to the transmission. Inner basket should spin freely with transmission in neutral and no clutch plates installed. If the inner basket spins freely with the clutch nut slightly loose, it could be a missing spacer or something like that. If it doesn't, could be a gearbox problem.
  11. yes, remove battery + battery tray. A lot of work but still better than removing the carbs.
  12. here http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/400
  13. Result although 14,8V is a bit high, should be 14,5. Better do the charging system mod as described on here somewhere.
