  1. crankcase breather (rubber pipe from top of engine to air filter box) still connected?
  2. difference in part number is probably just a difference in colour. According to www.motorcyclespareparts.eu the lower clamps are the same for both 600 and 750 of the same year. From 2003 the teapot got a new tailpiece, no other changes.
  3. Bandit stem is longer so that needs to be swapped.
  4. paint the wheels fluorescent pink
  5. Welcome on OSS. www.suzukicycles.org might be of some help.
  6. Ok... this is a ZX6R front end, as I wrote it's slightly shorter, and I seem to recall something like slightly smaller brake discs as well. If you buy a 9 front end make sure you get the matching wheel and discs. Steering stem length is 240mm from top of thread to baring face on bottom yoke. When I fitted the front end in my EFE I had to reduce the diameter a bit, because I could not find the bearings I needed. But you say All Balls has got that covered now so that's solved. My stem is now 30mm. Front wheel spindle is 25mm diameter, 122mm long between bearing faces on the spacers. The spacers are 19mm long (each), you might be able to make a speedo drive from an older model Kwak work on this front end. Front disc spacing (outside to outside) is 141mm.
  7. sorry, too knackered now to dig out the forks from the attic. Will do it tomorrow.
  8. I have a complete ZX6R front end (same as ZX9 but slightly shorter fork tubes) lying at home, I can post all the dimensions you need on friday evening. Working away from home now. The front end used to be in a B12-engined EFE and worked fine.
  9. A temp gauge like this. Costs quite a bit, but I bought it 15 years ago and still looks like new and works perfectly. Cheap ones are not accurate and start leaking and turning yellow after a few years.
  10. '98 and later Teapot has the longstroke engine (749cc). My B12 engined EFE has a cooler from an older type Teapot 750, only getting hot in city trafic during summer. I have a thermometer in the oil filler plug and just keep an eye on it, in the past 6 years so far only needed to stop once to let it cool down a bit (hot summer day, riding two-up, stop&go trafic). IMO a B6 cooler will be ok on your bike.
  11. Mk1 or Mk2 B12? Important since Mk1 has mechanical speedo and Mk2 electronic.
  12. I thought it was to reduce noise from the chain/sprocket
  13. I had a teapot oil cooler in mine.
  14. GSX-R 750 from '91 and '92. In America anyway, because the rest of the world got upside down forks on the '90 (L) model already. To be really sure post some close up pics of the front forks and someone else will confirm (or not). They should be 41mm stanchions, and where the triple trees clamp them the diameters should be 50 and 54mm. Lovely GS1000 you got there. Should never have sold mine 20 years ago. More info about all Suzukis ever made on www.suzukicycles.org
  15. those look like GSX-R 750 M/N forks to me
