  1. Before you drill the piston, try pumping it out with a grease gun. Messy ... but very effective!
  2. It's definitely 10x1.0mm. Took a banjo bolt out of Slab 750 caliper, and thread gauged it to death!
  3. Good project, and coming along nicely!
  4. The question is 'What's it worth to you'? How much do you really want it???
  5. Try Karen at LPM Plastics. +44 07960 398049. I've had stuff off them, and it's good quality.
  6. Engine plates on here, in 'Frankensteins Pages'.
  7. Check the part no's on Alpha, maybe? Quick way!
  8. Good find! You can get pattern side overs now, that are good quality. Not take too much to tidy up. Keep posting!
  9. There's a fork comparison chart on here somewhere.
  10. Ahhh ... now I see what you're on about! As I said before, use the whole Yam front end.
  11. On reflection, I think he may be talking about 3mm less between the knuckles at the axle? The R1 knuckles might have more meat on them. Maybe?
  12. If your yokes are 50/54, and the R1 fork legs fit your yokes ... how can the legs be 3 mill closer together than your old legs, which are the same diameter? Unless they flare out below the bottom yoke? The stanchion centreline is unchanged between R1/750L/M legs, (fitted to your L/M yokes), so nipping up the front wheel surely won't apply? It'd be far easier to swap R1/LM stems, and fit the complete R1 front end!
  13. I know that the R1 legs fit the GSXR750M yokes.
  14. Off the bike. Also tried extending them in case of 'sticktion' but they went back to 735!
  15. Doesn't make him a bad person!
  16. Best thing to do, in this case, is to firstly remove it from the frame. Degrease it thoroughly, then spend around 10 minutes on the wire wheel, removing all traces of rust. Give it a good coat of Red Oxide, (top coat optional), take deep breath ... then see if you can hit the opposite bank of the River Cam with it! Just joking! It's neither use nor ornament! Just Suzuki's way of extracting more of your 'Hard Earned'!
  17. Assuming you mean 750's? Mine are 735mm from axle centreline to top of leg. Can't help with 1100 dimms!
  18. Welcome! Now ... where's the pictures of the bike?
