  1. Have a look in the vault. Mr 7/11(Patrick), drew up a simplified one for his Slabbie. He used 6 or 8 stranded trailer wire. Worked fine.
  2. Air boxes are becoming quite hard to get hold of, nowadays! Try D&K?
  3. You could eat your dinner off that! Noff's got some competition?
  4. Welcome Shill. As you've discovered, there's plenty info on here just for the asking!
  5. As Crass says, remove it with 'self tappers'. Another pair of hands when you're replacing it would be helpfull!
  6. You're probably going in the right direction, thinking tubular steel instead of alloy. Interested to see how it pans out!
  7. Yes! That bolt secures the left hand oil drain tube to the case, but I can't remember if it's a case bolt, or just a short securing bolt for the pipe. Take it out and see!
  8. You really don't want to know!!!
  9. +1 If its only parting there half a mill, it is probably those two (Allen) bolts.
  10. C'mon then ...let us all see it!
  11. They do crop up from time to time, but as you've found out, those 3 letters are an acronym for 'Expensive'!
  12. Yup! Decent Slabbie projects are becoming harder to find!
  13. Welcome to OSS. Let's see some pictures then!
  14. Kero might do the trick but, if you can get hold of some Marvel Mystery Oil, and it is gummed up rings, that should work.
  15. Just another 37 posts, and all will be revealed.
  16. A thing of beauty, Si! Something to be proud of!
  17. Thanks! Bike's bog std, so nothing particularly special needed, just wondered if more amps were something to think about. EuroSpares are having a 50% off sale at the minute so, I'll see what's on offer.
  18. I need a new battery. So, is it worth going up on the amperage for 1100 EF? Or, just stick with the std. 14ah?
  19. As above. Stick to OE plates. And, welcome to OSS!
  20. @SpiritTake a look over on GSR, and read 'The Stator Papers'. Not saying the info you seek isn't on here!
