  1. Now now... Where Is the challenge in that.
  2. Nah.. he is used to abuse 'cos he owns a HD.. OSS is very kind to fresh converts
  3. Or just sell the B12 motor to an OSS bloke / gal and be done with it
  4. Their postage is pretty Royal For me it is cheaper to get stuff from Germany sent to the Netherlands... Where i live and CMSNL is based. When I need original stuff I order from https://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/genuine-spare-parts/suzuki-spare-parts You sometime need to use other sites to get the partnumber but that is not a problem.
  5. Well.. We all like a freebie once and a while ( Can't blame you for trying though )
  6. Have tried an aftermarket ignition barrel myself and also experienced electrical oddities. In my case I could only get the light working in the "P" parking position . Ignition never worked. I opened up the offending switch and noticed that internally it was wrongly bridged and I couldn't get it to work properly due to that. From memory one pin needed to bridge 3 contacts. Switched back to an original switch and never looked back.
  7. I would sell it as a surviver bike and buy a box of bike parts. But then again... I like solving the big 3d suzuki puzzles
  8. Did anyone notice a caption competition? I did
  9. Damn... Speedy recovery.. To both
  10. Sounds like the spacer in the swingarm might be to long causing this problem. A bit of play is normal but 2mm is excessive... If you torqued up the swingarm axle correct
  11. I think you will need an actual venturi pipe and a check valve thingy installed in your exhaust system. Otherwise - in my head - you will be sucking hot exhaust gasses into your engine in the downward stroke. Could be wrong, but looking at the P.A.I.R.S design currently implemented on the engine they all have vacuum operated valves and flap valves. Again... First thought.
  12. I think you are referring to the warning signal box: https://oldskoolsuzuki.info/forums/topic/7650-es-electrical-probs/?tab=comments#comment-86811 HTH
  13. I am no suspension expert but I think they still function OK. The guys at Hyperpro suspension tweaked the settings a bit for comfort. No comments from them as well and they want to sell their service and products. As its on my daily driver I am not pushing the limits with it. To me it doesn’t feel weird and doesn't bottom out at a pothole. Their instructions say use original amount and weight oil. I used Castrol 5w and 527ml per leg.

Nice... I plan on using the same damper on my project
  15. Good result. Was the project easier than you thought?
  16. Nah... I still remember mentioning that your screenname is a portable toilet in the Netherlands... Cant be that long
  17. You know we like pics... Don't You?
  18. What he said. Just drain in a clean container and chuck it back in when done with the cooler. Make sure no Road grime or gravel can fall off the bike so a proper clean upfront might be up hand
  19. Have you tried extreme creations in Australia? They too used to supply these. Bought my extenders for a bking front end there.
  20. Ran out of fuel and forgot your wallet at the same place... different day?
  21. I am guessing that black cannister filters the fuel fumes from the bowl vents. Looks like a futile attempt to get emissions down. Can a grown up confirm this?
