Mine has an extra fuel tap on the other side, originally installed for a nitrous bike. I have connected the fuel return to this. On my spare tank I have had a tube welded into the bottom that goes to the top of the tank with a bend in the top, this way the returning warm fuel is put above the fuel going to the pump. Cheers SRR

Lockup clutch but still slipping, tips & tricks?

Could try spraying the old plates with carb cleaner to get as much of the old oil out as possible, then soak in the new oil before installing. Cheers SRR -

Shot blast the plates, makes them grip the fibres better, mine has never slipped and still using original, plates with oem fibres. Cheers SRR -

From memory just make sure the tacho comes off of either of the coils, not both. Cheers SRR

Shot blasting them roughens them up a bit and gives more grip, never had a problem with them and never used anything but the original that came with my bike and a lock up, and it's got a Turbo. Cherrs SRR

As long as the plates aren't warped shot blast them and reuse. Cheers SRR

No, go low comp, and stick a Turbo on it, then it will really move. Cheers SRR

problem with drive shaft oil seal katana 1100
Screwriverracing replied to Peterrr's topic in Air Cooled
Find a large socket the same size as the seal and tap it in with that, don't forget to put ptfe or silicon spray on the inside and outside of the seal. Cheers SRR -

Also try putting the seal in the freezer overnight , then some Ptfe grease or spray, might work. Cheers SRR -
You might be able to get a remote filter conversion to move the oil filter. something like this Cheers SRR

You can always take the steels out and have them shot blasted, rough them up a bit and gives more grip, done this on a few GSX's and works a treat. Cheers SRR

I don't think there is a marked back plate on the Efe, they were on the earlier GSX. Cheers SRR
